Mapping a Route for the Winter Escape Recumbent Rally Feb 8-12th in SoCal.

I did a ride from Lake Cahuilla Campground with Harry, Trevor and Graham. These guys all work at Tri-A-Bike in Palm Desert which is hosting the Winter Escape Recumbent Rally, Feb 8-12th. Temps were in the mid-70s with bright blue skies and we were riding in short sleeves. We did a nice 30-mile ride mapping a route to have lunch at the polo grounds.
If you would like to attend the rally, call Harry or Graham at Tri-A-Bike in Palm Desert, California. (760)340-2840. They also have e-trikes and e-bikes for rent.
Let me know what you think of the route, the area, and my new camera,

This channel is about all things trikes and travel. I have been riding a recumbent trike since 2005 and have been touring since 2007 all over the world. I have toured on 6 continents, in over 20 countries and cycled more than 100,000 miles. In 2020, I shifted from solo trike touring to solo RV travel. After completing a cross country solo trike ride am I now switching back to looking for primo spots and trails to ride my trike.
On this channel I have gear reviews, tips and tutorials but, mostly, I produce short travelogue type videos of my tours and rides as I go. I travel with a DJI Action 3, Insta360 One X2, Skydio 2 drone, DJI Mini Pro 3 and an iphone. Thanks for subscribing and following along!

Loved the scenery and the sound quality. The background being slightly out of focus was not all that noticeable (as it was in the background). Glad to see there is sunshine somewhere on earth … lol. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Sylvia. I'm very impressed of your reviews and all the work you are doing to get more people out triking with the helth benefit this give also among disabled people, and I agree. If people have some strength left for pedaling this is the best outdoor wheelchair they can use. In the US you have the benefit that they can use a throttle to get home if the legs stop working. We have this possibility also in Europe, but only for disabled people and it's a bit disapointing that it's only Hase who has taken advantage of this possibility for disabled people. The regulation is telling that the trike must have max speed of 15 km/h in such a wheelchairmode, but this should't be a problem with an adjustment of the walk mode (6 km/h) or an extra control card. And 250 W with 85-90 Nm and gearing is enought for a wheelchair mode. Much people are ending up with more costly solutions while they could have the helth benefit for half the price with a trike. This should have been a nice oportunity, but serious trike manufactorer in Europe who are telling about all their solutions for disabled have fallen asleep from a great oportunity both for them and a lot of disabled people. I would like to tell you about this because you are such a very respected lady both with the manufactorer and among disabled people. Best Regards from Arne Gerhardsen in Norway

Looked like a very good route, especially the bike path. Your 'winter' in California is definitely different from the winter I'm enjoying here on the East Coast. 😊 Cold but sunny. Your camera is working great. The blurry background is not at all distracting and the scenic shots were wonderful. Have a good ride in February. From a fellow triker! 😊

First in loved the ride ❤❤❤❤ wish I could be at the rally. It was a nice route, but I figured you’d go off into the wash like you and Dave usually would do, that should be apart of the route I think, riders would love that.

Crystal clear audio with zero wind noise! Imagery is lucid and like looking out a rolled down window! The camera: what’s it mounted to on your trike? I noticed it didn’t waver or even bounce as you went over cracks in the pavement. What’s battery life like for continuous recording time? Is it capable of being constantly charged by a separate power bank while recording? Looks like it might auto track your face? Are you manually turning the top piece to show us the scenery? I heard the Friday rally will tour Palm Springs Celebrity homes loop. Is that still happening?

Look at those aircraft streams in the sky. That is being reported as intentional/intended weather/climate abominations. Out of context, but important to be aware of....
