I know that it is a easy answer, but think about it. first it was management so they change it, then it was coaching so they changed it, than its no key players, so they changed it. and so on and so on. Nothing works. Once a team makes the playoffs, they need to beat in a series 4 other teams to win the Stanley Cup, let that sink in just a second. That is 1 more than the entire league back in the Early 60's, which was the last time a Toronto Maple Leaf team won a Cup. So what really needs to change is the Team! Sell Them, move them, change the home ice, Change the team colors. But just get rid of the franchise and bring in some thing completely new. How many NEW Franchises have won a Cup since the Leaf's last won? Almost all of the new franchise teams have. The last team to win was St. Louis and they were one of the first new teams to be added and even they finally won again Before the Leaf's. IT's the Franchise, Get rid of the entire Franchise. Right down to the door man , the janitor, hell even the bricks in the building. Its time to flood someone's back yard and start developing 5 year old's, who have no clue who the LEAFS WERE, they will never be again the team we all deserve. Thank you and Good Bye Leaf's.

Auston Matthews must have a collapsed lung or a broken neck. You know, something more serious than the broken sternum Matthew Tkatchuk suffered in Game 3 of last year's finals, a game he stayed in and proceeded to score the game tying goal in. His brother then had to help him out of bed and his teammates had to help put on his equipment and tie his skates for him so he could play in Game 4. Or more serious than Aaron Ekbald, who played through a broken foot, two separate shoulder separations and a torn oblique in the playoffs. Surely one of the mighty "Core Four" wouldn't dream of missing an elimination game for anything similar or less serious. (Heavy sarcasm!) I'm neither a Bruins nor Maple Leafs fan, so I'm saying this objectively. This iteration of the Toronto Maple Leafs does not have the internal fortitude to ever win the Stanley Cup.

The Leafs are being beat in the O zone by a young Mason Lohrei, WTF, beat him up and run Swayman in the crease.

Dubas is a trophy hunter, and he shot himself in the foot, therefor the team as well. Mixing metaphors - too many princesses, no king, and the castle is build on a shit pile. Keefe is not the only one who needs to go.

Double shift the core, Really? They're the problem, plus Rielly. Like that hasn't work for eight years. They need to play the core less and play the other guys a little more, you can't feel a part of the team, if you don't feel important and not given ice time in crucial situations, if i was sitting on that bench and seeing the core guys failing left and right, and me not getting a chance, I would feel underappreciated. Thats the big problem with Keefe, he doesn't include the other guys on the team in key moments. He just go back to the failings core four.

They should just forfeit the game. EVERYONE knows the result already.

honestly if it werent for post time stamps you would never be able to differentiate these pressers from any of the other playoff runs. isnt that sad? literally the same responses and i understand the answers are always very generic anyway for these things but with Toronto, its always the same.
