@DaaaaaBears bert was average for 3/4 of the season. I liked him but we don't need forwards right now. Lilijgren is overpaid but he stepped up offensively last year. He's still young so let's see how he does with a better coach

So glad to see domi back he’s a guy who bleeds blue and is willing to do whatever it takes for the cup. Tanev too he’s one of the few guys who’s still willing to put his face on the line to get the W even in regular season. Hoping lily steps it up this year, not his biggest fan but hope he can up his physicality under Berube.

Nice to have guys who actually want to be a leaf

I really like Domi’s interview, he seems very humble and his interviews don’t seem generic

Excellent re-signing, I'm glad he's back. Very valuable to this team as we all seen last season

Domi gave Toronto a good discount. First of the few who bleeds hockey and blue and white. Most players today only care about money. Kadri was another player who loved being a leaf that was a massive mistake to let him go.

Rielly is one of the best at pinching in the O zone. I see Tanev as taking care of business on the D end. Leafs have never had a good partner for Rielly. They do now. Also great they picked up OEL. He fits the second pairing. Kudos for picking up Haka-Hulk for 5/6 minutes. All told around the same cap hit as Marner. Leafs must change this core and get something in return while they can. Letting Marner play out the season, or worse, overpaying to infinity is not good decision making.

One day the leafs will build their team with a focus on winning and competing everyday. Domi is one of those guys that can compete if he focuses on skill, rather than toughness. Till then front office is splitting hairs about whether they are from Toronto or shoot right handed over left lol.

I agree. Reilly last year was very mid. He was electric in the playoffs in 2023, but cap is too high now. Best to get something for him while he's still useful to other teams.

Leafs sign Domi for 4x's his worth and for longer than any team he has ever been with. He's been with SEVEN (7) teams in the last NINE (9) years and lasted only ONE (1) year with FOUR (4) of those teams. How dumb are the Leafs???? Everyone knows but the Leafs and their fans.
