This guy is a scholar and a teacher of that University speaking on the subject of theology that he seems to know very little of. Many always quote Revelations 1:14 to support the claim Jesus was Black because of his hair, however many miss that the scripture never said his hair was like wool… the emphasis was on the color of his hair WHITE like wool… WHITE as snow. If you apply this scripture that is hair was kinky like wool, then you would also have to say his hair was snow. I’m not arguing that Jesus was not of color, just that you should not use this portion of the scripture out of context… if you dissect it, you will see that the subject was the color of hair.

Thank you brother, you have tried to help the Ethiopian brother to step up in his studies about God. Jesus Christ was black when he walked here on earth. I believe what goblack is doing is awesome because WE must all know who surrounds us especially with the thought process that this man has.. Now we know how many of them have been indoctrinated with non factual knowledge of who they are and whom they come from and yes Ethiopia has been colonized by Arabs as we all can see 👁

This is exactly why I avoid religion. This man knows the image of his Savior changed from black to white in his our country, but it doesn't matter.

If you're a true Christian, it doesn't matter what Jesus looks like, and I'm Ethiopian.

You could have cut this interview by asking if Yahshua was a human, he could only have been an African. Everyone else is a hybrid.

This dude is expressing his own personal viewpoint because the bible does not say “it doesn’t matter”. Jesus spoke the truth. Told us who he is and was very specific in describing what his spirit vessel looked like while on earth. Therefore, the Orthodox Ethiopian profane comments are clearly blasphemous with a complete disregard for biblical truths. The problem with Christianity is that they have a disconnected image of salvation. They do not understand that in the early "church" those who were not Israelite believers in Yashua were Gentile believers the Mashiach. They too were given the title of Christians just as Israelites were given the title of Jews, which has led to so much controversy and debate today. They therefore mistakenly believe that the "church" has replaced the 12 tribes. However, Paul said may god forbid that he has given up or replaced his chosen people. They don't seem to understand the degree of influence that Rome and the Pharisees have played in shaping Christianity

You cannot blame him, if his professor told him, hair like wool and skin like bronze and coal are all illusions and God didn’t know His colors and really did not mean to give those descriptions in Revelations. Great dialogue but I was disappointed when he couldn’t answer about Abraham. The answer should God has created all of as equal but we all have different purpose! Its important to understand our Godly given purpose and live accordingly before we exit this earth. It’s not easy though.

I love his perspective in Spiritual terms. I think me, as an American of African decent, I look for these answers as validation to combat the trauma of American life for me and my ancestors in which we have made to believe, because of our color, we were insignificant. Yet I do believe that in the eyes of God this issue is a non factor, as he has stated.

In Ethiopia there is no color reference. Everyone around have similar color and culture so there is no need to identify person by what they look like. Even Caucasian people were not called white. It’s rude to call people by what they look like. They have many nations like Oromo, Tigre.. for example there are very dark nation called Gambela nations and they will not be called black ppl , they are called Gambela people. I believe black white .. came from toxic mind of the western nation rooted from racism. If they don’t want to be called black then honor that ! And call them Ethiopian it’s their pride to be Ethiopians! If you prefer to be called black then everyone should honor it. So I don’t understand always wining about Ethiopians are dumb because they don’t want to be called black or white..
