When i go on holiday in another towns i would often ring factorys of interest and book a tour of whatever their making. You be surprised how many factorys are willing to show you how things work. About 10 years ago i toured a plastic injection factory making window blinds... That was cool . Great cheap fun and gives you first hand knowledge on how things are made !
I've had a few close calls in the past, and I've learned the importance of wearing Softgle
Do they do safety checks on these 🤣 no nozzle guard and back doors open when running and yes im aware you can map the press to run with rear gaurd open but dont see any guarding??

The machine shouldn't work when one of the safety guards are open, those press can make up to 200 tons of force when closing, it's so dangerous.

At my plastic mold injection facility we have one that close up to 390 tons. We should be a getting a 400 ton Toyo soon tho. And you are correct. There should be an interlock safety system for the purge cover and the back door that shouldn’t allow it to run

From what I've seen in my career many artisans would bypass the safety of the machine just to get the production going, yes I agree it is very dangerous
I worke dina large Moulding shop and when machines were deemed beyond repair they were sold to agents who shipped them to Africa & Asia where they gained another 20 years of use.
Nice

Too much work when you can have a silo, pumping material to the hoppers
Its almost beautiful, how fucking hacked together this machine is. what in the frankensteins monster fuck lmao. I work in a facility myself and just seeing this is making me laugh my ass off, knowing that this level of "itll do" is even possible

If you argue "safety" in places like India, you don't get hired.. or you get fired.
Long time to producing 1 piece of chair

bro it takes days for a skilled carpenter to make a single wooden chair, not to mention drying the wood for like 2 years. they're also working with machines that should have been put to pasture 20 years ago it looks like.

More doesn't always equal better, their output is probably optimised to only satisfy expected demand

Very bad conditions to work
It all unsafe

I usually hate when the comments are patrolled by the safety police types that probably never worked in a factory or with something more than a keyboard. But damn all those open spinning gears and drives.....And Look no warning labels anywhere...lol.

These machines do seem to have E-stops, so actually a little safer than most of the machines on this channel!

@@bakielh229 I agree, I commented here because this vid seemed extra unsafe in a part of the world that safety is not a priority (people just trying to work and live is). I think it is important to see working conditions not policed by OSHA.
