over the last year ive become quite familiar with the flamenco solo guitar, but THIS is something i am only beggining to discover now, how flamenco is used to express inner feelings, and is a way of healing. I'd really love to learn what is going on here, so that some day, i cna participate in one of these flamenco fiestas with at least the palmas, or even better guitar.

ubershredder1989 look up Tony Flamadeus on KZread. He puts A LOT of emphasis on compás, which is very important in Flamenco. If you want to be accepted, an understanding of the heartbeat behind the music is important. otherwise, you're just playing some chords with phrygian scales interspersed

I tip my hat to you señor, because not only do you play flamenco well but you also make beautiful films about it. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from an aficionado.

Thank you for this film and introduction to this impassioned player, singer and raconteur of la vida flamenca. I have been fortunate enough to see quite a few flemenco artists in the past ten or so years and appreciate your giving us a look at this gifted artist whom I had not known before. Nevertheless, might someone new to this genre mistakenly believe, after viewing this film, that flamenco is a musical form only, as there was no mention or scenes of the dance which is perhaps even more basic to flamenco than the music. Dancers can light up the night with only their hands and feet. Does the music accompany the dance, or vice versa? Someone new might also think that flamenco is a strictly masculine endeavor which is simply not true. There are more than enough blinders with respect to women's contributions in the world; regardless of whether intentional or merely 'benign neglect,' it's something to consider for future projects if that wasn't your intent.

Does anyone know where i can find the Whole separate video where they sing and play on the couch at 12:10 minutes ?
