One of my favorite left-handed SG of all time. In terms of sneakiness, Manu is the biggest snake on the court. He's so tricky, smart and aggressive. And defenders have a higher degree of difficulty to guard left-handed shooters for some reason. He's one of only 2 players to win a Olympic Gold medal, NBA Championship and a Euro-league championship respectively. 57th overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft... biggest draft steals of all time. If he was on any other team...he would be in the starting line-up but Pop is smart for him coming off the bench. See you in the HOF Manu.

Effectiveness in ways that are BEYOND the stats sheets. Without Manu I doubt the Spurs would've gotten that 2007 championship or maybe even the 2014. As Clutch as they come, up there with MJ and Kobe for sure, sneaky athleticism, one of the most creative to ever touch the ball, always 3-4 steps ahead of the defender, great perimeter defense, and OG of the Euro step. Easily biggest draft steal of all time. A true winner at all levels of the game.

***** Not all them them have the accolades and accomplishments as Ginobili, though. For him to do it so consistently is what makes him really special and unique. If you know you know. SGs like T-Mac had a good stretch of lights out basketball, but came up short when to came to winning a championship. That isn't saying they weren't outstanding players. You can argue that he had 2 HOFers for help, but remember he is the go to guy for his home country of Argentina and he's tried and true when it comes to being clutch on a global stage.

why not? of course he should be in the HOF one day....if richmond or marculionis deserved it then manu absolutely does too. Dont forget about his international play...euroleague,world chi/p,olympics. Plus he was never a starter,only one season i think....never played heavy minutes. He could have easily been the best player in another team..

Hes a VERY good player but not the best shooting guard. People like Dwayne wade or Klay tomphson are better but he is very talented

Maybe some players are betters shooters or dunkers or whatever in the regular season, but in the playoff, when it's the time of true, "money time", many of them just disappear, and it's in this moments when Manu show his best play, courage and gots. Manu is the most competitive player in the NBA.

Thanks to Manu Ginobili for make me understand that score is not all,many selfish score more than Ginobili wich does not mean that will be better than Manu,score more because take more shoots than gino,Ginobili playing with Argentina national team average almost 20 points per game,score less in San Antonio because Tony Parker and Tim Duncan are the first and the second offensive choice.I dont have doubt Ginobili in his prime and playing in other team where was the first offensive choice and will play over 35 minutes easily would score 25-26 points per game

a bit maybe. But Manu does't play as a point guard. He gets the ball in different places. Also his passing is more sophisticated than Rose (check out other videos). He has one of the deepest understanding of the game better than most point guards. But Rose has time. And I feel he has a injury history too
