Strongly disagree about Luc. He is an another minelab expert lier. Don’t get fooled with manticore. This machine have problem with mineralisation and iron and all this bs with extra power is nonsense! All you have is nox with new screen in price of CTX

@@LUKEboyDetecting surprised to hear you say that mate, I’ve had the manticore a few weeks now and mainly used it on iron infested Roman sites and have found it great once you get the settings right, I used to have the equinox 800 but feel the manticore is already producing more finds

Simple advice what I can give you at the minute is not to run sensitivity more than 21 especially on Roman sites. Infested iron I normally run at 17. Try avoid to use iron filters. Too much sensitivity kill small and deep targets. If you have quiet field without iron then you can bump sensitivity to 25 low and slow. This is all I can advise you about. Please try and let me know. And recovery only between 4/6 😊

@@LUKEboyDetecting yeah I run at around 19-20 on the Roman sites and have had 2 hammered last few weeks, I’ve only ever gone to 24-25 sensitivity on quiet pasture and it does really punch deep with the 15” coil on pasture, I’m finding the 11” coil better on mineralised and iron sites and recover is 5 for me I like it there nice and balanced 😀

Manticore looks cool... Looks very simple, and easy 2 use.. wich is great for a fast terrain "play" Big hello from new friends and followers from southern Europe"

Absolutely mate !! I’ve got a second setting for deep pasture which I’ll use for either perms I’ve done a few times or really quiet pasture but these are my stock settings 🔥

Glad it helped mate, it’s actually from a guy on Facebook called Ricardo Lees, he doesn’t have a website I’m afraid but he is in all the well known metal detecting groups I’m sure he’s not too hard to find

@@scottdetects Thankyou ! Just now converting from 900 to manticore.. after owning the manticore for 6months to a year do you still utilize the power pack ?

@@ronatherton7217 I always use the power pack mate I like to run the manticore at full power all day and I only have to charge the power pack after each dig then and not the detector itself
