Manti-La Sal National Forest - Brumely Arch/Waterfall - FREE Forest Dispersed Camping - Utah

I found myself at a dispersed camping spot in the Manti-La Sal National Forest near Moab Utah. With Moab itself at 4,500 ft elevation, my camping spot on the mountain was 9,000 ft. The nightly temps were low 50's; excellent sleeping weather! The scenery at that elevation was spectacular! I heard of Brumely Arch/Waterfall and set out to find it. The hike into the forest from Squaw Springs Trailhead to find the arch/waterfall did not disappoint. Thanks for watching!

Awesome area - Take a nice scenic drive down to Gateway Colorado. (Hwy 141) It's about a 100 mile one-way ride. There used to be a little food trailer on the northside of Gateway. One of my favorite roads to ride.

What a great spot. The elevation is high so the weather is great. Can’t wait to get to Moab and see the area. I did get my Rv if you didn’t know ( it’s on my channel if anyone is interested) 21’ long and 4wd so I’ll be ready to tackle some back roads 👍🏼. The hike is amazing. The water fall and all but going up is definitely the hard part 😂. The shelter maybe a “too tired to make it” shelter 🤷🏼‍♂️. Great video 🤘🏼

Discovered your content today. Great work! Back.In.The.Day I had an old 1986 4x4 diesel f350 with a viking pop top camper. I welded a receiver hitch up front, carried a DR350se up front, chewed up a lot of the ground you're working now😂😅. You and others inspire me to do so again, now I'm retired. Might get one of those outfitter Juno campers with pop top, passenger side door tho, maybe weld some reciever hitches to frame rails, extend a hitch rack for the bike out back. Didn't really dig it on front. One of your commenters suggested Buckey, i recommend that. You can also hook that trip into the Castleton Gateway road, and have a nice bit of street run too.

Yes, blocked lights was an issue as well as rain, snow, mud getting into the bike. Switches, everywhere. Also in heat blocked my radiator. I did wire up jc Whitney headlights on the rack tho, with a switch under the hood turning truck lights off and motorcycle rack headlights on. Safe travels

I like having them. They can record to the internal memory, or set them up on wifi to upload to the cloud. If you have them set up on wifi, they'll alert me on my phone of movement at my campsite. I can also check in on my camp site while away. They are battery powered, and the battery charge last for months, depending on movement. Easy to set up and easy to use. I have a link for them on amazon in my video description if interested in checking them out.

My security cameras have to have internet service to send me notifications on my phone. I use my starlink to provide wifi while dispersed camping. I don't have to have wifi to use them, if I didn't have wifi, I could have the cameras record to the internal memory. But without wifi, I would not be alerted of movement, nor would I be able to have a live feed of my campsite while away. I use my 1000W jackery to power my starlink during the day, and the solar keeps it charged.
