Whoever is the man behind The Dream Journey, I love you and I can’t thank you enough for providing us with the best quality of music. I’m pretty young and dumb to explain anything about Sufi Music but I have grown up imagining how much we have missed of this 700 year old legacy started by Hazrat Amir Khusrau. What we see is not even the tip of the iceberg, imagine how the legendary Qawwals might have been in that era! Thank you for making this content available for the future generations who will have something to cherish forever. Love from India.

خدا کا شکر کہ مشکل کشا ہوا پیدا۔ تلاش جس کی تھی وہ راہنما ہوا پیدا۔ خدا کی شان تو دیکھو اے خدا والوں۔ خدا کے گھر میں کسی کا خدا ہوا پیدا۔
Strangely on 17th April I watched this video thrice. Stunned to hear that Maulvi Haider Hasan breathed his last that night. One of my favourite singers. Can't forget the first time I saw him singing the kalaam : Ishq ki ibtada bhi tum Ishq ki inteha bhi tum in a group. Was impressed by his hifz. May Allah grant him a place in heaven which he truly deserves . Aamin.

علی شاہِ عالم اماماً کبیرا کہ بعد از نبی شُد بشیراً نذیرا زمین آسماں ، عرش و کرسی بحُکمش علی داں علیٰ کُل شئ قدیرا عَلی ابن عم مُحمد رسول است چوں موسیٰ اخی گفت ہاروں وزیرا علی اولیاء را دلیل است برحق علی انبیاء را ولیاً نصیرا زتو ہست روشن مہ و مہر و کوکب توئی در دوعالم سِراجاً مُنیرا ز اِطعام لذات دنیائے فانی عَلی کرد مُختار خبزا شعیرا بود یطعمون الطعام از تو شاہا بمسکین ، دیگر یتیما اسیرا چہ باک است مداح مولا علی را ز یوما عبوسا و از قمطریرا کَسے را کہ حُب عَلی ہست در دل شُود ایمن از شرہ مستطیرا ازاں کس کہ بوئے ولائے تو آید چہ حاجت کہ ترسد ز منکر نکیرا سقا هم شراباً طهورا ز کوثر نہ بینند شمساً و لا زمهریرا بجَنگِ اُحد چوں نبَی ماند تنہا خُدایش فرستادہ نادِ علی را مُحب عَلی جنتی بعد مُردن بود ایمن از خوفِ منکر نکیرا بہ بد خواہ ِ اولادِ حیدر خدا گفت کہ یَدعُو ثبورا وَ یَصلیٰ سَعِیرَا ز تو نیست پوشیدہ احوالِ جامی کہ ہستی بمعنی سمِیعا بَصِیرَا علامہ جامی علیہ الرحمہ

Every person has a link (wasila) to God and I am the one without a link. To me, there is no wasila (divine link) except Murtaza Ali.

You must not be familiar with Sher Ali Mehr Ali. Look them up. They have a very unique style and they have been around for a very long time. In fact i'm very surprised that they haven't been featured on the dream journey yet. That's about the only fault i can find with this wonderful effort by the people behind the dream journey. I'm hopeful that it'll be rectified.

@@syedazkajalaluddinmashhadi7762 Of course I know Ustad Meher Ali and Ustad Sher Ali very well-I have often accompanied them in their concerts and translated their kalams and interviews in Paris , also in Morocco-(Fès Festival)-They are of course excellent-But their younger generation has diverted from their route -Very sad-!!!!!!!!

Very powerful. Power in the voice, power in the words and power in the light shon from this kalaam. Arif bhai please check out Mansuri Qawwals. A group of young talented qawwals inspired to spread sufism and peace. All of their work is done with nothing but love 💘.
