marcelo tamayo Pacs peak years was in between 2006-2010 so he was still in his Prime Years when he went up to the Welter division, the glimpse of being a complete fighter showed up when he fought Marquez the 2nd time around! It already showcased when he fought Diaz! But Pacs prime years only lasted up to his fight againsts Margarito at 154 lbs, catchweight at 151 or 150 lbs if I'm not mistaken. After that fight he started slowing down and his killer instinct slowly fades away! Nowadays he is just basically using the gift that he learnt throughout his journey as a P4P boxer which is enough to beat these elites in this generation.

Not the greatest ever by a long shot! Great fighter though.. One of the main reasons he has so many titles is that there are too many divisions nowadays. Ray Robinson (the true goat) went from welter to lhw...fewer actually titles only because they didn’t have a weight class every 3-5 pounds back then! PAC is great, but not top 10 all time pound for pound. Hell, he’s not even the best of his own generation!

@@rodyinjapan I agree with you. Since my military days I live half the year in the Philippines and love Pac Man but I think at his age this is a tough matchup for him. Thurman has nothing to lose. I hope Manny gets the W but this is a tough match for him at his age today. A Pacman in his prime would destroy Thurman but he's not in his prime now. Pac will always give his all though. I look forward to watching.

Chef Antonio McCoy No doubt he’s good, but he’s only good because he wins by points. Not as exciting as Manny blitzing guys with his speed and just completely bullying people. On the other hand, Floyd is all defense and not much else. Sure he has a couple KO’s but overall he’s not exactly the hardest puncher much less fastest.

You can tell how much respect Thurman has for Pac he was just trying to hype the fight. He was also very graceful in defeat.
