I am listening Rafi's sahab songs in this lockdown.जब मैं 10 वर्ष का था तब मैंने अपने चाचा जी को यह भजन गाते सुना था। आगे चलकर बाद में पता चला यह आवाज सीधे दिल में उतर जाने वाली आवाज थी और इस अद्भुत आवाज़ के मालिक थे रफी साहब जिनका व्यक्तित्व एक मासूम बच्चे समान था छल-कपट से अछूता।

excellent . . .Rafi's voice throw, pronunciation of Sanskrit /Hindi words were phenomenal .Who understands music, Indian particularly will be shocked that this song was sang,written,& composed by 3 Muslims. How they had given justice to this Krishna bhajan!..superb

You can take Rafi Sahab to any heights of composition and he will happily go with you and will eventually make you feel that you cannot exploit his full potential. He can climb any musical mount Everest in a stride and yet he has so much to offer but there is no one which can make him go that higher... As someone in the comments said, the music directors were not able to exploit his real talent.

Rafisaheb was a real DIAMOND SINGER and was an artist with real RIAZ .

Rafi sahab is singing this difficult song live so effortlessly.I'm amazed to see he is not too close from the mike,but you can feel the power of his voice.without making weird faces without twisting his mouth like the singers do now a days he is just cake walking this song.He even does not fully opening his mouth.This is god singing and nobody else.Jai Rafi sahab.

Having lived most of my life in New York and having the privilege to be be exposed to worlds great singers/bands/composers of all styles and as a musician, I can tell you with 100% certainty that he was truly the best singer ever to grace the mic and what can I say about his gem of a personality. Last but not least, my hats off the legendary Naushad sahib. I want to thank both of these legends for leaving a treasure trove of musical memories for us and future generations to cherish and be in awe.

I had the privilege of watching this entire show LIVE on Doordarshan then. He was a picture of divinity- both by voice and composure. I consider him as some incarnation of God himself. I am blessed to have been born in an era where melody ruled. Rafi was no ordinary mortal. He will live FOREVER. His demise is one of music's GREATEST LOSSES. Miss you very much Rafi saab.

In all my adult years cant gauge the amount of respect, affection and admiration I have had for Rafi saab. Class act, great individual and an immortal voice. We are blessed to be born after him to hear it.

I never get bored by listening to Mohammed Rafi sahib' s melodious, metallic voice. Sometimes it acts as as Anti depressant, some other times as a great respite from grief and agony, at least for a few hours.My salutes to the great man, still serving humanity, in absentia.

This voice has the power to revive a dead soul. Many can sing the technicality of this song but the essence belongs to Rafi Sahab only and none else

Listening at this song I feel that rafi saab's potential was not fully utilised by music directors. Rafi saab was very high quality singer and genius. Only Naushad saab was able to use talent of rafi saab's Unmatchable voice and talent of classical singing. Others had not that much capability to use rafi saab's talent and voice. Rafi saab was far above all music directors.what an effort less singing. Such a great singer he was.
