What happened to the kukis in Imphal was a terrible thing and I hope peace prevails soon. But you should know that the riot started in Churchandpur on the 3rd of May afternoon while the problem started in Imphal in retaliation somewhere in the late hours of 3rd May. So, chronologically if you see , the problem started in churchandpur where the meiteis were wiped out. Now this doesn't mean I support kukis being wiped out from Imphal. But please don't point fingers with half knowledge saying only kukis are the victims.

If you're speaking of events,let me inform u how it clearly happened The ignition started due to the burning of the Memorial gate in Leisang..literally right next to my grandpa's house..and then at Kangvai Meitei mob and tribal mobs faced off..but the arrival of the state police who took Meitei mob side was also another tuning point..and what do you mean "retaliate"..when I saw videos of New Lambulane's church burning..tribal churches burning..Tribal mobs had only partially mobilised still to vandalised Khumujamba and the other Meitei leikais..and let's not forget of how the state police,mob,Arambar and Leeepum ran rampant during the initial days of May from date 3-7 to 8..not even sparing women,old men,kids..in torture,chopped to death,burnt alive,raped and left half dead in the streets while someone shouted "good morning Ccpur"..you'll never see a Meitei being treated like that..because unlike Meitei society our women actually don't encourage the youth to take on such horrific actions and instead choose to let the Meiteis reach refugee camp safety..that's why Meiteis were able to reach Mini Secretriat Building from Lamka..because we allowed them to..ofc I don't deny a few good Meitei also helping our people in Imphal but there we no act of sympathy like in tribal areas..no Meitei women were raped in Ccpur,no women were beaten nor killed..men might be beaten to some extent but that's merciful compared to tribal men being chopped,burnt and stoned to death..! I could go on for more than 1k words still but..don't go around blaming us Kukis for everything when you know that in terms of death,murdered,refugees,properties damaged, and churches burnt we are leading..!

Manipur story has become the new item in shop for many news channels so many times we hear news that are far from facts and not in conformity of the actual occurrence. It is my earnest request to all new reporters/channels to not treat Manipur story as the new item in your shop because your stories can accelerate the injustice metted out to so many innocent people. Amit Shah's futile visit in Manipur substantiates that the center is not fully committed in resolving the issue for reasons which is not too hard to speculate. The center should have used it's defense and security machineries from the beginning that would have prevented alot. Still, the people there are counting on center's unbiased intervention before they all perish.

I am curious about few things. First, isn't Khokhen a Kuki Village?? Second, Why would the Kukis attack their own village? Thirdly, All the casualties are Kukis. Fourthly, One of the victim was a 75 yr old lady and people are calling her a terrorist??? It doesn't add up at all. I have been following the news for quite sometime and it just doesn't seem right, don't you think??
