Manhunt for suspects linked to Springs cash-in-transit heist
Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for suspects linked to yesterday's cash-in-transit heist in Springs. Police say a group of heavily armed men ambushed a cash van, disarmed security guards and bombed the vehicle. The men were eventually traced and cornered on the M1 South near Booysens - three hours after the heist. A shootout ensued, one robber was killed and a police officer wounded. Each car must have lessthan R100 000 and many cars , it will discourage robbers . Just think they need to pay for guns, explosives, informers and share money among 15 people so 100k is too little.
