I wouldn't necessarily call K-Town as a secret in Manhattan, certainly not to the Asian communities and the people who work in midtown. The food there is just amazing! To be fair, I've also had some of the best Korean BBQ in Queen's, too.

Just stayed in Koreatown in July with my family and loved it there! You missed Grace Street Coffee and Desserts on 32nd. AMAZING place. Lines always out the door but soooo good. Great video as always - helped me a lot when planning our trip!

The South Korean bread fish looks very interesting. Bon Joo 35 is my favorite restaurant in Koreatown, and I highly recommend the Korean Army stew if you decide to do another tour.

It's called bumokbang. Not whatever that non Korean koreaboo said. That guide guy literally made everything up in this video 🤣...from how to eat kbbq, to pronouncing Korean things, to making words up for Korean foods

So many great places to see and stuff to experience, planning a trip to NYC but knowing there will be so many things missed is torture! I'd love to take in a sporting event while over there. Massive fan of football in my home country of Scotland. I know you were heavily involved in sport as a career. Have you done any videos on attending sport in NYC? Thanks, Gordy

The last street festival I went to in Koreatown was in October 2019. So good. Oh yeah, Sweet Caroline is my go to karaoke song too 😊

Jon I have just added Koreatown to my list for sites to visit in NYC.

I learned about Manhattan Koreatown from a book called The Sun Is Also A Star (you should definitely read it btw) and wanted to check this place out. And to my pleasure, this is as beautiful the book said it was.

I'll be staying on W 32nd St in September when I'm over or my first visit so this is a really handy guided for me. Looks like such a vibrant area.

The karaoke footage at the end is fun. They do that in the movie Shang Chi too

Been by there a quizillion times never thought to stop. Called my Korean cousin and told her let's go check it out so we have a date for the near future. New York is currently (October, November 2021) not letting anyone enter establishments unless they're vaxxed.

I was there pre covid; it was a good time but not nearly as happening as it looks now. With outdoor dining and Korean culture blowing up it looks significantly more than dynamic and busy than before. I'll have to visit next time I'm in NYC.

HMart in the city like apartment - compact 😂 Got to go to ones in Queens where most Koreans live. Karaoke on other hand one of the best in the city - per my experience can even get party of like 20 people 😀Big props for singing on cam! 👍👍

I love these sort of places. I have often said if I was emperor of America. I would force a entire Korea/japan/china town or something. To relocate and fill in 10 square miles around my house.
