I watched Tangled in 3D at the movie theater. I was blown away by this scene with all the flying lanterns everywhere. I definitely felt the magic. I remembered thinking, wish Walt Disney was here to see this. To see how the magic of Disney has evolved. I’m sure seeing how far it has come, since his time, he would certainly be proud.

Tangled is essentially the epitome of Disney, in my opinion. It PERFECTLY captures a traditional Disney love story and villain, but adds all these amazing extra layers that were sort of missing before. One of my very favorites!

i recently read an article about zachary levi saying how he would love to play flynn rider, but he doesn’t think he’ll be able to because he’ll be too old by the time disney gets around to actually doing the live action...which sucks. but! he said he’s willing to be there on set and give pointers to the new actor on how to be flynn :)

I loved her in A walk to remember and Chasing Liberty.

The ending of this song is so so good for so many different reasons. I personally love the songs that end with the female voice in the lower harmony and the male voice in the upper melody. Also though, what it represents for the film is just beautiful. It’s like they’ve switched places. Flynn helped Repunzel go on her adventure and find out who she really was, while Repunzel reminded flynn of the innocence that he’s been missing in his life. They taught each other something new, and showing through the music is just beautiful. I’ve always been drawn to Tangled because it’s much more character driven compared to other disney movies that focus on cool visuals or an interesting plot. In Tangled, we actually get to see how Repunzel and Flynn grow together, and this is the result

I'll say I never knew Zachary Levi could sing until I saw this movie. I like his and Mandy Moore's voice they're great singers.

This song is a million times better than Let It Go. Mandy's voice is so beautiful an Zach's is flawless.

Eeeeh, why can't we just enjoy them both? This song is soft and sweet and beautiful and makes me cry, and Let It Go is powerful and moving and makes me cry too. They're both wonderful.

My opinion: Talent wise (the singers talent)- I’m a major theater geek, so from my perspective they’re both *utterly amazing* and have very different yet amazing talents. Idina Manzel has a very belty voice which is really amazing and Mandy More has such a great soprano voice I think they’re equally as great Song-writing wise: I’d have to give this one to Tangled. The harmonies match so well together and the only negative thing I have to say is that I wish it was longer!! 😊😁 that’s my opinion being a theater and Disney nerd 😂

2:55 - 3:00 that harmony is beautiful i love it. Their voices go together beautifully. Just wanted to also point out how warm and silky Zach’s voice is. It’s a gorgeous contrast to Mandy’s perfectly soft and clear voice. Stunning.

I think this is the most beautiful song of all Disney movies and Tangled will forever be my favorite Disney movie.

i love how Mandy Moore’s career has evolved.. and how she has came full circle from the mean girl in Princess Diaries to becoming a princes herself here in Tangled. She deserved more projects & recognition. Anyway she & Zachary Levi have so much chemistry as well..

and as well as her amazing performance in tangled, she and zachary levi (and eden espinosa and jeremy jordan and the other actors) absolutely knocked it out of the park with TTS, making perhaps the best disney tv show ever made.

I always cry when I listen to this song, imagining my lover and I walking down the aisle together with this song 😭

I keep forgetting that Mandy Moore is an INCREDIBLE vocalist. Like, it takes a massive amount of skill for her to be able to blend her voice that well in a harmony so much so that you can't even hear the tone she's singing in, while still sounding fucking amazing doing it. So I always come back to this video from time to time to remind myself.

A whole new world and I see the lights are the two best songs from Disney movies. One from the old classics and one from the new movies. Funny enough Flynn and Aladdin are both thieves that fall in love with the princesses. And both songs were made by Alan Menken, that man is a genius.

I can actually hear lea salonga in mandy moore's voice at some other parts of the song, but when mandy moore starts hitting high notes and with whispers, im always taken back to my first love, a walk to remember angelic performance. Ill never get tired of listening to mandy and lea.

Not to mention that both songs played during something floating in the sky scene. In Aladdin, A Whole New World played when Aladdin and Jasmine floating in the sky on a magic carpet ride. In Tangled, I See the Light played during floating lanterns in the sky.

I want to put this sing into my wedding march or sing it with my future wife in the wedding. I'm right at the moment waiting for her to show up. It must be like how this song sounds if she eventually comes over me. I'm sorta full of sentiments. This song always touches my heart. It sounds so so true.

I'm teary eye right now watching this.. I remembered our Disneyland trip.. I'm truly happy bringing all my Kids to Disneyland...

This is one of my top 3 favourite Disney songs. The vocals are absolutely amazing and powerful. Can't believe Rapunzel was over 12 years ago- Camera quality was surprisingly good back then 😂
