I used to watch this every morning in bed with our little boy. He was 2 and mesmerized by it all. Somehow we stopped watching it (at age 3.5 ) when his little bother was born. Today I played it and my son (now 6!) came running, leaning his head on my chest. Holding my hand. He listened very carefully and squeezed my hand with kate’s beautiful high notes. When it stopped he turned, smiled and went back to play with his thomas trains. No words. Magic 😊

Ashley Mazanhi as a trained and professional opera singer, it depends on the fach of the singer. I train vocalists as well and I have women much older than 40 still hitting those notes because they are light coloraturas and that’s their range! La Stupenda sang way beyond 40.

I like how this medley doesn’t just showcase romantic love. It also showcases familial love and self-love which have also been central themes in many Disney films throughout the decades. Good job Voctave, Kirstin, and Jeremy!

I love that they included the Tarzan song to include the love between a mother and child! And the self-love in Go the Distance from Hercules. Usually people only think of romantic Disney love songs.

One of the best bits of this video is watching Jeremy react to Kate Lott. FANGIRLING SO HARD (like all of us). He can't keep watching and smiling whenever she hits those notes, it's incredible. Voctave are incredible. It's not often the melody is more captivating than the lyrics, but WOW.
