Mikey if you have not played Hades yet, I highly recommend it. It is a rouge like dungeon brawl and it is so amazing to play. The graphics and the art style is stellar and you never feel like you loose if you die because it gives you opportunity to talk to the amazing characters again. The music is probably the best music for any video game ever and it’s just such an amazing game

I think it's amazing that Mikey is able to talk about his interests that's not just pokemon. I've been watching him for a while, and I always have fun when he has content come out (also he got me back into pokemon, even when I was in a bad spot in life), so I think it's awesome that he can get to express himself and we get to see more about Mikey then just the guy who plays Pokemon. 😁

Not gonna lie I think I'm gonna love this channel even more than your others. For one, while I love Pokemon, I have a lot of different phases where I like watching a lot of different things, and I think mixing your personality, which I like watching, with those other games sounds like a fun as hell mix. For two, I like longer form content a lot of the time, as I love just putting on videos or series on in the background when I'm doing schoolwork or playing games, and from what I remember of your first video, that's exactly what this channel is. Excited to see what we get here, keep on keepin on.

I have 2 (technically 3) game recommendations. Since you mentioned 2 space games where you build bases, I highly recommend the 2 games in the Subnautica series. They're games where you crash land on an alien planet and try to get out. The second one is different though, you're there to uncover secrets about an organization. The other one is The Henry Stickmin Collection. I highly recommend it, even though it's very different than the other games that you said. It's a game with MANY endings and I highly recommend you get all of them. It's easy, funny, fun and references many games.

Far Cry Primal is my favorite video game. It's an open-world story game with an amazing story and graphics. I love that it's based in the stone age, so you only have primitive weapons to work with and you're up against primal animals. You can tame those animals and use them in combat. The combat system is absolutely amazing and probably my favorite combat system of any game. Please play it :)

I was about to say the same! I think his editor picks the music (I'm really into video game OSTs so I find their good taste in soundtracks a huge bonus for the videos), so it's possible he hasn't played a Xenoblade game yet. Based on the repeated love of RPGs/open world style/good stories throughout the video, it seems like a perfect game to try. The only downside might be the occasional difficulty of the battle mechanics and quite grindy gameplay, based on what he mentioned, but otherwise the worlds and story are amazing!

Great video. Yes Pokemon is my favorite franchise, but I have gotten bored of just pokemon. So I have recently started watching different youtubers and playing games like subnautica and the horizon series. So I love this video, glad you added this channel, and cant wait for more! Also side note, i found it funny because how I like to enjoy video games is literally like you lol. Specifically needing tasks and just wanting to have a good time.

Game suggestion: Kingdom Hearts series. Primarily the core games 1, 2 and 3. Although there are many others as well. Feel like it meets a lot of your requirements, graphics, heavy in depth story, fun combat etc. my favourite series of all time. The story can get a bit confusing, but it’s a lot of fun and you can sink into the universe very easily. Basically final fantasy meets Disney 😅

The story is moving and intriguing and it’s overall really fun to find new abilities and skills throughout the game together with slowly piecing together the lore too.

Here's some games I suggest, the two Subnautica games are fantastic, pretty open world, you have goals, build bases, it's just fun. I also suggest outer wilds, you go into space and end up getting stuck in a loop, you go and explore and each time you learn new things it gets saved into your ship, it's a really interesting game. I also suggest the dark souls series, idk if you would like that series or not though because it's super hard and mostly combat. Hollow knight, its a indie, 2d sidescroller, idk if you would like it or not but I absolutely love it, it's so good, your a bug, in a bug world, and you have to stop this infection that's spreading. Lots of combat

I would say the xenoblade franchise is my favourite selection of games ever, they’re pretty similar to botw (especially the first game) in that they are open world action jrpgs except xenoblade has an incredible story - something botw was lacking a bit. Games like FE3H, Triangle strategy, octopath traveler, live a live, PLA, Persona 5, etc (basically games with good stories) always entice me though. The horizon games are definitely on my list of games I have to play, it seems really fun

Honestly I've played and also love a solid 90% of the games you mentioned (basically everything here except the pc exclusives), and I have 1 game/game series I HIGHLY reccomend based off of what you said you like in games, that I myself adore: Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter Rise is the most recent game (still being updated with new content), but Monster Hunter World is another great one (came out in 2016 and had the final update in 2020) that I couldn't reccomend enough. It can feel a bit clunky when first starting, but ot has THE most satisfying combat and environment I've seen in a game, with World's world (haha) feeling more alive and detailed than almost any game I've ever played. MHW is on PS4 and PC (and x-box but you didn't mention that once so idk) and rise on Switch and PC, and I reccomend those games above all others.

I 100% agree with BotW! It’s my favorite open world to revisit over and over (besides Skyrim), and I really enjoy facing monsters to steal their weapons! I recently 100% the map, so I’m working towards upgrading each armor set so I have something to do 😂 As for game suggestions, I personally love strategy games like Fire Emblem or money management games like Jurassic World Evolution 1-2 or Planet Zoo. Another one of my favorite all-time games is Ark: Survival Evolved, as it’s a bit like an open-world survival game with end goals that you have to discover through exploration. It’s a bit more on the difficult side to learn to play, but it’s incredibly fun nonetheless (unless it begins glitching over and over again :/). Love your videos, and I hope one day a playthrough of a non-Pokémon game will make its way onto this channel!
