We were sat in the 3rd level of the Colin Bell Stand with the Manchester City fans
City dominated the first half and could have been at least 3 goals ahead but for poor finishing and some misfortune around the box meant that at half-time it was 1-0 to City. Rico Lewis put City 2-0 up following a disallowed Alvarez strike for off-side. Mateta scored in the 76th minute for Palace and Foden's foul on Mateta in the box in injury-time gave Palace a penalty. Michael Olise coolly slotted home the penalty to set off wild celebrations in the away section.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
