This is the year Malaysian Airlines finally managed to get in after 6 years of trying alongside Thai Airways who never made it (there was talk of them coming about 3 years ago,but I am not so sure now especially under the current climate). They had planned to start in around 1994 routing via Amsterdam,Frankfurt OR Brussels or perhaps Dubai on a 747-400 combi like they were at Heathrow a couple of times a week at the time. Malaysian also scores by being the first scheduled airline to operate a Non-Stop service to the Far East from Manchester whereas the others Singapore continued 1 stop services via Bombay(Mumbai from 1996),Paris,Amsterdam and Zurich and Cathay to Hong Kong via either Paris CDG or Amsterdam with their 744s.

It was through Munich from Manchester(Can't remember the flight No,now) at first then direct non-stop as I will explain in the main public comments menu MH17 was from Amsterdam.

In this video are Caledonian, Airtours and Flying Colours. All of which became Thomas Cook. Which is no more. Now with Corona and Brexit, what new players will emerge?

Well this video is full of morbidity, not only is the plane shot down over Ukraine on here but the Learjet 'G-MURI' shown at the start crashed in May 2000 with 2 fatalities.
