Well they were The ones who started it all in the store. They changed who was manager a few times, Went through The Black shirt and white shirt saga together, And Alan the only one who truly understands Rowan. This is my FAVORITE episode thus far. The drama, the tension, I FELT UNCOMFORTABLE AS THE AUDIENCE and my oh my Alan biting back and taking control is one of my favorite things in VLDL, like that one time in Epic NPC Man where he snapped when the dialogue was skipped. Amazing job you guys this episode was an absolute masterpiece!

I think this is the best moment we've had between Rowan and Alan in a long time. And I'm so happy for it. They used to be friends but have become much more like enemies lately. This was nice to see.

Honestly one of the best episodes yet, and a bizarrely deep moment for Rowan, I was very surprised he said thank you and showed some genuine if guised humility towards Alan.

I always love when you guys have an episode that nails the comedy but allows for true sentiment to exist without being stifled. Excellent job on this one. Very fun.

You know the situation is unsalvageable when someone in the room says, "Rowan, do something!"

It's kinda nice to see Rowan actually found someone as evil as him 🤗 as horrible as that is for everyone else... *Edit:* I cannot believe no one has mentioned Clause 6.1.4 yet!!! I understand why Rowan didn't use it cause then Alan would just be doing his contractual duty instead of submitting to Rowan's authority. But surely someone else remembered besides me!?

This was so much more nuanced than it had any right to be and I love it. Showing actual character growth in this format is virtually impossible and yet here we are. Also the manager woman was terrifyingly convincing.

Always great to see a new member establish them self, Brynley is doing great and really fits in will with the Board sketches!

Wow, this is almost relatable, I’ve had managers act like actual monsters because they were the ones in charge

Alan and Rowen's relationship through the seasons is so good! I love the fact that there are three employees and two managers, and all the managers do is make the employees jobs harder! If Play Tech was owned by the government then there would probably be three employees and eight managers... 😅

Maybe out of all the managers and people like Rowan, Rowan might actually be the most rational and grateful/appreciative person among the bunch.

The best thing you guys did to this series was to introduce the second manager.

I think the hottest thing they could do is to all quit simultaneously..... so they have to get all new employees. That should be an episode. It could even be a multipart episode!

If you watch this without subtitles you're missing out on some amazing extra jokes. Kudos to whoever writes these cause they're not auto generated.

The fact that they both said "please" in the first place breaks the immersion for me. Rowan is going soft!

Almost feels like I'm watching character development in a game where their is a bit of humanity in Rowan. The fact Rowan has some sort of admiration or Intrinsic value with Alan due to their bond and history of Alan gaining courage and confidence to defend himself and rowan seeing that...especially after the white shirt, black shirt and golden shirt saga I missed these 🥹 well done guys loving watching the content

wow, y'all have all progressed so much in the last few years. The writing on this skit was hilarious, and having Rowan show deep character development even just for 10 seconds is amazing. Kudos to the whole team for putting in so much amazing effort and love into each video!

the acting is fucking brilliant, i will watch vldl till my last dying breath. you get so immersed by the emotion and awkwardness of the characters, its second to none
