Yup definitely a gun powder measure, found a few of those and ID from FLO. Used to have them attached to a leather strap. The lugs on the side were stitched to the strap.

Nice assortment on your vid Darren. Good to meet up with you the other Thursday night at LMDC Barrow. Have now bought myself a Simplex + and trying it out locally. Won't be able to make the October meet unfortunately but will be there for the November one. Cheers. Tony 🦊

Another great video, dont know if I have missed some but I have not seen any videos from you for a while? the lead bucket is an apostles cap, called so because the wooden powder flasks were worn in a bandolier of 12 the lead bit being the wooden flask stopper. Wood and lead were used obviously to prevent any sparking.

The bit in the middle of the hammered is probably mint mark for York mint
