Definitely a Carlsberg field. Fantastic hammered coins and that stater is an absolute beauty. The bronze roundel looks iron age especially with the triskele design. Amazing artefact find for sure. Excellent video Darren and congrats on your first ancient gold coin 👍👌👏👏🍀🍀

I was in two minds posting this video up pal. You can see why. Some people will think it's all fake but I just had to show people it can happen. Hopefully it will inspire some to keep on swinging. I've booked days off work and found nothing before. It's a funny old game but exciting too. Appreciate the visit mate and time taken out to leave a comment :)

Great find on the forgery I'll take it any day, the spindle whorl is on my bucket list hopefully one day. Well done on your hammereds always lovely to find I've had a good run lately with them. Had a sunbather the other day with a cut half Henry III. The George coin was in excellent condition, a good permission for sure with plenty of different finds for you followed by a Celtic gold coin top hunt. John

Thanks for stopping by pal. The field was amazing but short lived. The field dried up pretty quickly. My third visit sent me home with very little. The big Celtic disc could be from a Seax pommel or hand guard. Have a look at Todd's workshop on KZread at the dagger he's recently made. Todd Cuttler.

Maaaaaaan your so jammy what great finds, i think the round Saxon thing with hole in it was a brooch the bit broke at side was maybe where o pin broke and it would of had a red stone in the middle and held a light garment on the shoulder,

What an amazing field ! Unbelievable finds from Celtic to Roman, Hammered to Georgian and Victoria. Did you try out the fob seal to see what it says ? In wax or something similar? Happy Days !

haha, I've been waiting for a comment like this. Look through my channel pal. You'll see I have good days and bad days just like everyone else. I do not advertise on my channel to gain any profit.
