Trust in Ten hag, he wanted to sign Rabiot two years ago. A lot questioned it but he was proven right. He knows this players capability, especially after all the summer antics with his job. I'm not sold on Deligt personally, but he is still an upgrade on what we have got, barring Martinez. He isn't slow, but isn't the fastest at CB. He is okay pace wise, physical, decent passer, very experienced, a leader, can play L/R CB. But very injury prone. If they are serious about this deal, it needs to be around £30-40m and he needs to take a wage reduction to around £150-180k.

Not good enough he was a huge disappointment at juventus.. Don’t think much of his pace either ,

Simple fact with de ligt is this… he is a risk… a very expensive risk. I’m all for taking risks. But if I’m taking one… take it on someone who is either unproven potential or the financial implications are low enough that it becomes a calculated decision. An expensive risk on a player who was bang average at Juve and Bayern seems to have glazers all over it.

Tbh, I'm not convinced about De Ligt mainly due to finances & partially because of injuries.

Not sure why we don't loan some of these players with an option to buy. De Ligt and Ugarte would be good candidates.

Think of it this way, people say we'll struggle selling sancho because everyone knows we want to sell him, so we've no power when it comes to negotiations, same goes for de ligt, everyone knows bayern want to sell! P.s romano has confirmed united interest in ugarte mark so get giddy

Having licha, todibo, anselmino, kambwala and evans sorts out our central defence in my opinion.
