What a brilliant league the Prem is this season, building on last season's epic run too. I would sincerely add the bottom 3 teams to this list as well (Luton, Burnley and Sheffield). Now that they've played most teams and gained some real Prem mins under their belt we will see these three teams have an impact on the rest of the league and for themselves too with. Stronger defiant opposition in games. Second half of the season is all business where we see the breakaways.

Exactly... its the same with Villa too. As an example, Emery had the team for 2 solid days when he first joined ahead of a match with ManUnited and we not only beat them 3-1, he initiated a style of playing that he then built on.

As a neutral, I have been particularly impressed by WH's euro performances. I don't think people fully understand how difficult it is to beat the teams in the conference and Europa comps. But regardless, I do think the experience of winning the Conference Cup and being tough to beat, getting results by 1 goal has built up a resiliency and confidence within the WH squad. Hoping we (Villa) can follow in your footsteps.

They aren't in crisis. Mixed results are normal for a mid table club. The issue is that people still talk of them as a "big" club.

Big problem has to be everything. Onana can't save anything, especially for de gea who was a gem. Varane and Evans been alright, dalot and wan bissaka have not been great. But that mid fields been horrendous. The amount of runners coming unmarked from there is insane. No team can survive that, especially when your attacking depends on countering you have to be better. Bad to be on Turner when he doesn't really have that much defense behind him, and he's kind of been out to the wolves

Hmmm as a Villa fan I genuinely don't think you are right. That pen was soft admittedly but that's few and far between for us, we don't usually get them. And we've most definitely had poor VAR calls that have even been so blatantly poor that the PGMOL have had to apologise. Happy to be corrected. That being said, we haven't had it as bad as Liverpool or Wolves which is ridiculous to even say that I am glad we haven't had that many VAR decisions go against us ...madness

@@Lioness_UTV The games that stick in my head was the arsenal game, Brentford should’ve had a penalty which would’ve killed the game, although it ended 6-1 there was two dodgy decisions that happened against Brighton and that could’ve ended up being a different game. Will have to agree to disagree on the Burnley pen as I don’t think it was a pen.

Luton has scored more than United. And everybody seems to hate on Luton for playing with what they've go. Most fascination season I have ever witnessed. Everyone can beat everyone. That's how it should be.

There’s definitely times I feel Onana could have done better but he does still have a higher save percentage rate from more shots faced than DDG had last season. Know it’s not all stats but it’s not like we haven’t seen De Gea do the exact same thing Turner did, multiple times in recent years 😂 Mount feels like one of several signings over the last few years that has been done because of their availability & profile rather than where they fit into the team.

That Domiguez goal and slight variations of it, have been scored all season against United. Either runners into the box completely untracked or United players being totally unaware of where players are around them, in the Dominguez goal Montiel finds a pocket of space which is availible because Dalot leaves him for no reason instead of staying compact, the pass is made into Montiel who then draws Evans because he's in a dangerous position. Evans abandons his man (Dominguez) who is now is acres of space inside the box and he scores. All the while McTominay jogs towards Dominguez with no urgency not really contemplating the danger the defence is in.
