At 5:00 you really get a sense of how powerful Zod and his army are. Jets and rockets being completely blown away from the world engine, without even making a dent on it. All the while the world engine is completely flattening metropolis and knocking over skyscrapers. They literally feel unstoppable at this point. Plus Hans work just ties the whole feeling together.

A parallel to Kal's vision on the Black Zero, perhaps.

Oh and btw, you mean the Black Zero, as only Superman engaged the World Engine. The military was going against Zod's ship proper.
Anybody else catch the moment when Clark was looking up at the World Engine mustering the strength to fly that he looked like Christopher Reeves?

Such a great scene and this track really amps it up. I cannot get enough of this. It's funny how i didn't really like it when i first saw it in theaters but over time I've fallen in love with it in so many ways and it's one of my top ten favorites.

Zod's look of disappointment and regret remind me that he feels as probably like: "I don't want to do this, I have to..." Modern problems require modern solutions lol
What a distinguished and exceptional score. Why don't marvel movies use such memorable and epic scores for their movies, such scores make movies immortal. These scores one of the reasons why we love man of steel movie.

LegoWarFilms scores on official album are early drafts called 'suites', this is a motion picture score that was edited to fit in movie, few things are added and few are cut.

I love how Faora speaks of the superior evolution becoming victorious, yet it's truly Kal-El who is the evolutionary pinnacle in that he rejected Kryptonian culture in favor of his adoptive home's culture and through all related things is actually stronger for it, and more humble. Although I personally love the Kryptonian refugees, their logic is flawed in that had they left Earth as it was, they could've been virtual demigods and subjugated the planet, yet they continued to act aggressively without proper steps to maintain their own security. Well, now that I mention that, they did the same on Krypton as well.
