This man lives with two pet gibbons in his home in Moscow, Russia.
Designer and actor Eldar Gadjiev, 35, was given Eva and Eric the gibbons six years ago when they were just one years old.
Now seven years old, the monkeys are another part of the family as they eat food with Eldar and his family and even cuddles him in bed.
His friends and family all love Eva and Eric and often come round to see them and play with them.

Oh yeah, I have no doubt.... Its really sad to see. Its also really heartbreaking when most people give them up because they become too much of a handful. Since they weren't raised among other monkeys/apes they can't be released back into the wild and they have a really hard time adjusting to living with other captive primates. What do you do with them at that point?

Yeah these guys are extremely intelligent and Are are extremely warm and friendl rarely will you hear gibbon attacking somebody typically only out a wild when they don't know the person you're dealing with somebody mistreats them this guy here is going to treat them better than most them get treated out in awhile so yes the Patriots sucks but I didn't dividual is going to suffer more by living this way or more by the way if you turn them into someplace where you can stuck out there in the cold and be living in the fenced-in area behind bars I lived in prison for two years I'll never put anything in the cage or behind bars he's always think about what's best for the animal some homeowners some some people in the pet trade are good to the animals are you a mechanic with an injury it couldn't live in a wild and you got so much crap gets so much stuff so many threats and people trying to turn them in most people didn't even start to realize that this animal head injury could not live in a while and he was helping it because all this stuff of everybody being so high power anti pet trade and transportation that they're out there Superman they're trying to make some kind of difference I believe in doing right things but everybody trying to pretend that they're wearing Superman underwear is getting really old and really pathetic. Imagine all of you I wearing some creepy European underwear and wearing man buns hairdos, come up with a man Romper driving a pink Toyota Prius. Enough of super woke crap y'all can help animals without acting like a bunch of complete and total followers in total sycophants of total attention addled wokeness it doesn't become anyone and is the opposite of appealing

@@leodowneyjr9594 First of all, learn to write in paragraphs. What are you, 10 years old? Second, there's nothing wrong with interacting with these animals - in the wild. They often live on campgrounds or in parks, and humans interact with them all the time. Give them bananas. Swing them around. Make friends. That's fine. But owning them in your house? Do you comprehend how that happens? Here's how: Step 1: SHOOT MOTHER AND FATHER (both, because gibbons live in family units). Step 2: kidnap baby. Step 3: Sell to as-shole. It's not about being "woke." It's about not being a fking sociopath.

There is a gibbon sanctuary not far from my house. Even though gibbons are beyond adorable, fascinating, and even thoigh himans and givbotare both primates, people CANNOT be replacement gibbons. Gibbons thrive in their natural habitat, NOT as expensive novelty pets. Gibbons kept in captivity often develop behaviors that their owners can't handle when they grow up. Pet baby gibbons are frequently separated from their mothers before they are ready to be independent just for someone's amusement. The owner of the gibbon sanctuary by my house told me that you can tell which gibbons were separated from their mothers as infants because they will suck their thumbs. The gibbons at this sanctuary are descendants of generations of pet gibbons. The sanctuary is a full time, intense job and labor of love for the kady who keeps rhe sanctuary. People have absolutely no idea how labor intensive these adorable tiny gibbons will grow up to be. Even the most attuned human will absolutely NOT be a gibbon mother who can teach a gibbon how to be a gibbon. This baby gibbons vocalizations were tragic, because this baby gibbon is instinctually calling out for other gibbons to socialize with, especially its mother. As much as I adore gibbons, keeping this tiny baby gibbon as an amusing pet is beyond narcissistic and short sighted. Gibbons in a house will always need a diaper, because I have never seen or heard if one who could be potty trained.

I could've sworn I saw "Shaver Lake Ca." in this video, but maybe I'm mistaken. I live about an hour from there and it was largely burned in one of the recent massive Calif. forest fires. Wondering also how this man obtained them as "pets" in violation of international laws and the Endangered Species Act. I noticed in several comments here people saying it's just fine to keep them as pets. I'd have to disagree, for many reasons. For one, in order to capture infants for illegal pet trade, the mother's, and possibly other family members are killed. These amazing creatures are now critically endangered because of this greedy practice, as well as deforestation/loss of habitat. Anybody recall how well Travis the chimp worked out?

There is a lot wrong with having these as pets! These are lar gibbons, a lesser ape. They are endangered and only have about 15,000 to 20,000 individuals left in the wild. These animals are highly intelligent, they have a complex diet (Omnivore), they need to be able to swing from tree to tree and not be kept in a house. If this man is not a professional the gibbons need to be taken away because it is likely that how he got these is someone shot the mother and prob the father, listed them somewhere and sold them to him for cash and those poachers will keep shooting gibbons for money.

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. It's not about following the law - perfectly, as it's impossible - it's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER If you have any questions let me know

All I really learned is that people will advertise religion anywhere if they believe it will save their soul. It's not really a generous or selfless act if it's for your own security, is it? Seeing as God exists outside of time, and all the names of all the people going to heaven are written in the book of life, that basically means that whether you're going to heaven or not is already written. No need to TRY to go to heaven, or struggle with your mortality. If you need to go there, you will. If you don't, you won't.
