As a bun dad to 10 bunnies, I love this video! It proves how lovely they are, and what great companions they can be. All they want is love and to be looked after, and they will more than reward you with their love in return. These 2 are just so utterly gorgeous! So happy to see them being treated to the best life. 🥰🐰🐇☺️

I miss my bun. We found him abandoned and kept him when the rescue didn't have any room. So glad we did. He was an adult when we caught him (with the lure of a banana!) and we had him another 11 years. At the end, the doctor couldn't believe he was 13 years old (they said he was at least 2 when we first brought him). She said he looked so good (even with cancer). She said we had done a great job. She made a donation to her vet school alma mater in his name and they sent us a letter. Bunnies are so sweet & awesome. I love the binkies & flops. ❤️

So sweet - they remind me of my bunny. Our rescue bunny, Sicily, came into our lives 4 years ago in Georgia. She was found in a cardboard box next to a dumpster. I tell people all the time that she actually rescued us! She loves bananas, too, - and gets a small piece of mine almost every day. I've made up a medley of songs that I sing to her every day, and yet, my son his her favorite. That's fine with me - I still think she's the sweetest bunny in the world - and that's what I tell her!

There's a huge amount of research one needs to do to be a good bunny parent. I learned this the hard way. Here in the U. K. there is very little info available and pet stores are sellers are often dishonest or purveyors of outdated ideas. Luckily I finally found the book "Rabbit Behaviour, Health and Care" by Marit Emilie Buseth and Richard A. Saunders. It's beautiful and comprehensive; I highly recommend it.

I think some people might think that they’ll have a bunny and it will be like a dog or cat, and be relatively low maintenance. They do take a little more effort but it’s worth it. However, it’s very important that bunnies have another bunny around! Guinea pigs are similar, they can get depressed if you only have one.

Yes, they are so loving! When my young husband began to suffer from leukemia, i gave him a little bunny and she lived in his bedroom. He suffered quick from a big brain bleeding and lost a lot of his consciousness. It was a gift because he didn’t understand his situation anymore and was always happy. He was in bed with a big pulmonary monitor machine and an oxygen mask in his nose. He has people around him day and night, as i worked as a nurse. He was always happy and played with his bunny all day. He managed to survive 8 years on comfort palliative care because i was unable to saw him suffer when they took bone marrow in his chest each week for nothing. He was a giant, body and heart and the bunny lived in his bed and her cage was open on his nightstand. She was very clean. When he passed, she never would eat again and mourned until death some days after him. I was so shocked by her silent love. I wanted to follow him too but i had 2 little daughters and couldn’t. We two are now married for 45 years and always in honeymoon, he simply is no more here and i now am in palliative care at home with my eldest daughter. Life is harsh but animal love is incredible and simply love, period.

This is such a meaningful story! Here in the US, we also have a major issue of buns being abandoned or turned loose outside, especially during Easter season. My Finnigan (the bun on the right in my photo) was abandoned in a cardboard box near a local walking trail, very similarly to Patch's story. The person who found him posted about it on a neighborhood app (NextDoor) and I basically called "DIBS" right away. He and Fiona bring so much joy to my life and to each other! Rabbits are social, emotionally intelligent, trainable, playful, affectionate...I just can't say enough good things about them! There is some work involved, sure, but that is true of all pets. (Even turtles need fed & their tank water changed.) The love and trust they give in return is beyond worth it! 😍🐇🐇

Utterly delightful ❤️🥰 As a bunny Mum myself, I can attest to bunny hearts and minds being wonderful and capable of much depth. They're behaviour and responses, their physical structure and function, are sources of endless fascination, and make us love them all the more. Thank you for sharing this with us, a dose of beauty and love in a world filled with Narcissists and sociopaths is the perfect antidote, as God knew that it would be. God bless you and your family ❤️🇭🇲

Those are some lucky buns. I love how she calls her SO "Bun Dad". 😆 You can tell those folks obviously take very good care of their bunnies and now a power cord (that bunnies want to chew on) in sight! ❤

You are Wonderful bunny parents! I have kept bunnies as pets and I find them to be just adorable. They do require a lot of care and work so they can be healthy, happy and safe within a human home, but they are worth the extra work. My boy bunny Benjamin needed a companion after his much older companion passed away. So, after a few months, I took him to a House Rabbit Society rescue and allowed him to choose his new girlfriend. She came home with the name Beatrix. They lived happily together for many years. Bunnies are pure innocence, even the ones who are "spicy"

Rabbits make wonderful additions to a family!! I have two. They are funny!! I had my first rabbit on the couch one day and there was a magazine in her way. She picked it up and threw it off the couch. I couldn’t stop laughing! ❤️
