Honestly, as someone who always wanted to join but didn't, I do have some regrets over not doing it... Believing you're not good enough before actually trying isn't a good enough reason to not do it in my opinion and you aren't born like them, you dont transform over night they were trained over time to be this way and Pollock not realising that he got shot is pretty natural when you're pumped on adrenaline lol War is war and all these scary ways of dying have always been there. If the enemy can kill you effectively, they'll do it but it doesnt happen everyday, there is a certain amount of luck in war where you or the guy next to you can be killed instantly and I get why that would scare some away but you could be killed doing anything, you could die today falling down some stairs but just because you could die from the stairs you dont shy away from them, you still use them and the same context goes here, you're better off not worrying about it until it happens because we can die at any moment for any reason and the most cautious people cant escape it so live for the moment not the worry.

We all need a leave especially a company commander. Most soldiers serving would want to leave Afghanistan a better place even if they hated the place because there's pride to be had in it. The British were in control of Afghanistan for less than 50 years over 100 years ago so why you're blaiming imperialism on that I have no idea... Western powers, even if they are doing this to gain something will want to beat the Taliban and improve the country because otherwise it'll look bad and western powers are at the mercy of the people that voted them in. We dont live in dictatorships here so stop blaming everything on the west just because you dont like them.

Most underrated documentary channel on KZread if you ask me. Insane amount of talent and risk! Thanks for putting it all on the line for us at home Ross!! (And cameraman)

I appreciate that Ross is at least trying to be/being helpful, going out calling a medic up and telling them where they need to go.

Ross Kemp has to be the bravest person on television. The situations that he and the crew put themselves in is just insane.
