My brother and I both went to Vienna in 1970 for the cup winners final. We were also at Newcastle in 1969 when City won the league. Both were amazing games to watch. Good days ! I am now 75 and still support our city ! once a city supporter always a city supporter !

Loved the positive attitude of the Irish guy at the end...come on City.
Easily through to the ¼ finals with most of the regular first team rested.

I appreciate that
My Dad AKA (Badger) was in Vienna 1970 ironically he had to go via Vienna on route to Istanbul last season. He split his head open had 10 stitches in his head, few days later he went to watch City lift the league title, then few days later had his stitches out then went wembley to watch us lift the FA Cup then he was in Istanbul. He's been following City since he was 10 he's 76 now. Helen The Bell Turner treated my Dad like a son sorry to go on.💙
@11:20 what is going on its like a scene from the exorcist 👿
What a vlog. Superb night. It was fantastic to catch up with you again. Keep doing what you do. Great to be a blue!

Thanks again!
The fella at the beginning is obviously mistaken, it was Fenerbache of Turkey, not Galatasaray that put us out of the European Cup in 1968.
I said hello tonight before the game, lovely to meet you in person. Great win, onwards we go. Great vlog Cheesy 👍💙
Well I never knew Gary was a relative of BH - never mentioned it when he was cutting my barnet.
That paddy at the start, he was a united 10 years ago. City fan in Ireland is less likely to see than a unicorn before 2008.
When I worked at Oldham Athletic, Gary used to come in the Boardroom with Bernard 👌
Brilliant loved watching and listening to their story .
Great result. C'mon city
Cheesey, the Kit Symons clip needs sorting out. Have a look.....
Great stuff, Ian.

Glad you enjoyed it
It was Fenerbahce who ended Citys European cup dream in the late sixties ... not Galatasaray.
Thanks for the video ✊️ ✌️
great that City were able to rest key players , after scoring so early , i was quite impressed by Copenhagen Look forward to sunday , hopefully another win , CTID,
😂This may come back and bite me😂 there also might have been drink taken😅, but feck it! go big or go home🎉 thanks for the interview Ian! it's great to be a blue! 💙
Didn't need to push ourselves tonight, Liverpool are going to be tough
I'm a Newcastle fan who came down with the wife who is a massive City fan. She regularly travels down 2.5 hrs to watch city so thought I'd come down with her as City are my 2nd team if I'm honest. What I was shocked by was the lack of atmosphere....and not just this game but many others. Had to laugh when the Copenhagen fans starting chanting "Is this a library"....very funny. So City fans...what's it down to??.....cant be all down to tourists. surely...is it down to being spoilt? I'm generally asking the question..not taking the "pee". With Newcastle's recent take over I'd hate for us to lose our atmosphere at St James'. Dont get me wrong it been quiet at times at St James' this season but I was really shocked how quiet and the lack of atmosphere there was last night. Good luck for the rest of the season....double is on the cards definately...not the treble cos the TOON are in town a week on Saturday for the FA Cup.....lol

Tourism is part of it, it being a dead rubber of a game after winning 3-1 in Denmark and the crowd just enjoying good football would all be factors

Tourists are increasingly part of City's patronage, but especially CL games. Where I sit, and I have had a season ticket for decades, very few of my neighbours, so to speak, turn up for the games. They are replaced by people spending most of their time filming it on their phones and have no idea what the songs are or how to cheer on the team. It's a depressing state of affairs for an old Blue like me, but it's the way it is. You have to bear in mind the club is now run by grubby money grabbers that care not one jot about traditional supporters as they chase the pounds and forget the legacy of fans like myself who went far and wide decades ago supporting rubbish but having a ball at the same time. I was staggered at the number of half and half scarves being worn when we played United a few days ago. Tourists turning up in numbers but plenty of die hard blues with a lifetime of supporting City unable to buy a ticket. Yes, the atmosphere is rubbish at most games now, I'll grant you that, but it's not City supporters responsible for that as we are increasingly being replaced by customers with no affiliation to the club. We may be winning trophies, but we are just a tourist trap these days, the club know it, and they are milking it for as much as they can.
7 changes s from the weekend well rested 1st team. The lads did what they needed to, poor nunes limping off with dislocated finger lol ... ouch tho. Great vlog ian 👍 bring on the scousers

@CheesyForeverBlue well done mate!
Come on city
The atmosphere was winter cold, us fans are getting too spoiled, we shouldn't only turn up for big games.
Another great video but you had a glitch with the kit.

As a long-time City fan, I can honestly say I don't mind if we don't win anything this season. The incredible season we just had is still sinking in. CTID! 🩵
