I’m haunted by the fact that an innocent person attending a rally, just someone participating in an election year as thousands of us do, lost his life in a split second. He could have been anyone we know.😢

It's absolutely wild that this can happen. I am English but I cannot understand how people on the left hate Trump so much that they would attempt to kill him to stop him winning the presidency. Surely Trump embodies everything that is great about America 🇺🇸 he is the personification of the American dream. A man who backed himself with his own money to win the presidency and fix what he saw as the problems besetting your country. On the opposite side there is Joe Biden 😮 a man so dishonest and so lacking in cognitive ability that he cannot even tie his own shoe laces 😅 oh well, that's politics I guess 😉

Seriously, media was soo unfair to him that i had to look at all the unedited clips and the media always twists him and what he says. They call himHitlar and its no wonder he’s fending off bullets. Soo unfair. Now they, Harris/Biden administration even put veteran, Tulsi Gabbard on a terrorist watch list!!! 😮 it was a horrible mistake putting the current people in power.

Not only did they not cover that roof, various witnesses say they SAW the guy climbing up there with a gun and were telling any police or figures of authority around, and they just couldnt get any sense of urgency. Secondly, they killed him nearly instantly, the secret service were heard saying "gunman down" while still huddled over Trump. So they pretty much had this guy in their sights? How do you react that quickly? I would have thought it would take at least 3 or 4 seconds but the audio suggests it was all nearly instantaneous.

@@jivydremsa509 well, on twitter it's liberals saying it was staged by Trump to get sympathy and win the election (saying it was too much of a lucky shot to just graze his ear, and that all the iconic photos with his fist raised are just too perfect, and that the crowd didn't react properly), and then elsewhere the conservatives are saying it was a setup by Obama and Hillary and Bill Gates etc etc. Personally I am less inclined to believe large conspiracies that involve a lot of people to pull off. Local and individual conspiracies are more plausible. The most outlandish I would entertain is that maybe the secret service sniper might have decided to let the killer get off his shot before stopping him. But I'm perfectly willing to believe it was just incompetence. That roof should have been covered though, and when even people in the crowd are noticing it's pretty bad. Incompetence, or maybe malicious negligence on the part of a few in the secret service team there that day.

Secret Service visited my town in 1992 when I was 6 years old during Bush, Sr.'s campaign. Granted, Trump doesn't have a full presidential package (which he should after this), but six year old me vividly remembers what it was like having the Secret Service in our tiny town. We had agents crawling all over the place, snipers on multiple buildings, a huge area cordoned off, there wasn't a single view of the President which wasn't covered by multiple types of guns, both automatic and sniper, along with helicopters circling overhead. Agents with rifles and trench coats were patrolling the alleys and you couldn't make a single turn without seeing some kind of armed agent. The idea this guy could get on a roof in clear line of sight and take a shot at a former president/current presidential candidate is so insane.

Hi I'm from the UK just watching preliminary footage & found this Dr. Grande analysis. I agree the secret service have a lot to answwr for. I've juat seen an interview with a guy saying he was on the way into the rally, saw the guy on the roof, alerted the police & security at the entrance who did not adequately respond to their observations 2 - 3 minutes prior to gunshots being fired. At the same time looking at footage of Trump holding his ear after the gunshot wound... there ia no blood on his hand. Likewise when you look at his ear you see no blood on his hair. Then when the media discuss people in the audience being shot & muedered or injured, I haven't seen any evidence as yet. However there is plenty of evidence of security wirh guns everywhere. What really happened is still to be clarified. I agree with Dr. Grande however, this entire scenario will certainly provide Trump the sympathy vote.

I agree with you 100% Dr. Grande. As a non US citizen looking in, my concerns are: 1. There didn't seem to be a lot of rooftops. Rooftops would be my primary concern if I was a secret service agent. Also, there seem to have been regular & special police there. So, why wasn't that area more secured? 2. An eye witness said they saw the shooter on the roof a couple minutes before the shooting. He communicated this info. to more than one law enforcement personnels. So, why didn't they radio the secret service men & have trump escorted off until the threat had been assessed? My preliminary conclusion is that the people tasked with his protection, dropped the ball. 2. How did a 20yr. old manage to get such a weapon on to the roof, without being seen? 3. How did he learn to shoot so well? So many questions....

I can't see any of the secret service holding shoes, and I doubt he was giving a speech in his socks. Perhaps it is a code word? In a situation where the President is under attack, revealing that the president is immobile could give the enemy an edge, thus code words.

Pennsylvania does not require safety training or proficiency testing when buying an AR-15. When you purchase an AR-15 in Pennsylvania, your name is not entered into a registry. Pennsylvania law prohibits the creation of a registry of firearm ownership, and the state does not maintain a database of long gun sales. Sudafed cold medicine is more regulated; all sales require government ID and registration in a database.

Maybe seeing trump lie, lie and lie some more, plus deny his words that are in videos, and trump promotes violence. Maybe that motivated the shooter. Sadly, biasedly, dr grande did not mention this possibility. And to quote trumps wild statements and describe his wild actions is not vilifying, that is describing and quoting.
