This was not an original soundtrack from Sailor Moon but a library track from a Japanese music studio, so it was hard to listen to a proper original audio track of this piece without any muffled sounds or watermark on it, but here's my shot at it! The scene is 1000 times sadder with this music than the old dub I grew up with. It evokes such powerful emotion.
When she said "I'm sorry mom I won't be able to bring mamo home to visit" it broke my heart
I rewatched break up scene recently and I can’t stop crying. When I was a kid I couldn’t understand why can’t he just confess it’s because of a dream not because he doesn’t love Usagi. But as I grow older I gradually understand Mamoru’s feeling. Anyway Floraone’s fanfic Purgatory is doing a way much better conveying what I am trying to say here. Finally, thank you Sen for making such wonderful video!
This song always makes me sad because of what Mamoru did to Usagi. I really hated when he broke up their relationship. Stupid break up

Oh, this scene made me cry when I first watched the episode. As a child back then, I just couldn't understand why he broke up with her. I love how you play this song slow and gentle. I can put this on repeat. Adding this to my playlist.
