Let’s see, your asking who sang it better, Meryl is an excellent actor, not known for her singing and was 67 at the time, Lily is in her lat to early 20 -30’s old and a singer, so there is no comparison, I believe they both did excellent, I didn’t even know Meryl could sing, so it’s truly not a even comparison…but I wish they could make another, they keep me hopeful about life and happy, not to many things do these days.

Meryl is known for singing in a multitude of her movies. Starting with Silkwood back in the late 70’s

For dancing queen the winner is the sequal because it involves the whole cast compared to the original where it just involoves the ladies singing, for super trooper the winner is the seual again because it involves the whole cast again compared to the original with donna and the dinamos sounding singing out of key
