This is a wonderful warm-up video! It's got the lot...and makes a great sing in its own right. Watching the cast singers is a joy as well.
Thanks for posting this warm - up. As much as I did not enjoy the warm -ups, this warm-up is a pleasure to do. Thanks to all the people that participated & made it happened. All the best.
Perfect warm up before rehearsal or drama school auditions love it my go to ❤

I would love to have been in MT too, but I get satisfaction from singing a lot of songs from musicals (as well as songs from movies, plus others). But MT is my main (and favourite) genre because I love the acting. If you don't already, get singing those wonderful songs from the world of musicals!

I do sing MT songs every day and I teach singing, though my current students prefer different genres. I am just as happy with those, but MT is the most uplifting in my view and yes, it is the acting which really creates the mood and the story.

@@Alfie198 It's wonderful to have the same outlook - MT is my "go to" genre. We seem to have very similar views and it has been lovely to message with someone on the same wavelength. Thank you for writing back.

What a great warm up! I feel like I can seeing ANYTHING now. Though my neighbors probably hate me a little more 😂
I just found this video because I’ve been searching vocal warm ups and exercises. No exaggeration, but I’ve watched and listened to this video over 20 times in 3-4 days. I sang along at least once per day. But I keep returning to it because of these absolutely gorgeous voices that complete this ensemble. I feel calmer after listening. I imagine this video was done when maybe Covid restrictions were high and daily life was a challenge. I don’t know if these actors realize how inspirational they are in this setting. We would usually be limited to seeing them in costume on stage. This stripped down version displaying their raw talent…. I can’t find the right words. Please consider doing more of these types of videos. I cannot emphasize how much fun it is to watch them, to sing with them and just listen to them. Thank you so much for this content.
doing mamma mia this year for my high school drama production, so I’ve been searching everywhere for good vocal warm ups. This is perfect! Thank you🫶
Thank you very much , that was a lot of fun!!!❤️⭐️👏🏻👏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️😊😊😊😮😵😵

Awesome warmups and superb piano accompaniment, thankyou
This is outstanding and speechless, wow! Thanks so much to share this with all the singers and musicians out there :) (including me)
I love this it’s my favorite
Perfect vocal warm up, Thanks
I always do this warm up before gigs! Thank you 🙏
This is wonderful, thank you!!!!
Oh WOW! I thought I had done my quota of vocal warm ups before I start singing, and then discovered your channel. Because of the warm up being connected to a musical, I just HAD to do some extra work today. What a great plus! I am a coloratura soprano, both in terms of high voice, and coloratura runs. I think I may be classed as a crossover soprano, but my main genres are musical theatre, plus show songs, and opera. It was exciting to find this and you have a new subscriber. Thank you so much - this is a gem.
Brilliant. Thank you for this knowledge.
Fabulous! Wonderful insight to Mamma Mia’s Vocal Warm-up! Will be showing this to my Musical Theatre students.
Wunderbar, mit so einer tollen Begleitung am Klavier ist unglaublich!!

I forwarded your video to a professionell and he likes it a lot and forwarded it to a student if his.
Hello, have been doing your warm -ups for a while and really enjoyed it, thanks for posting. I was wondering if I could ask a question with regards to singing? I am quite good at copying & memorizing lead vocals of the songs I play. However when it comes to changing the key of a song, it takes some time for me memorize or I can get lost. I also write my own music & find it sometimes difficult to express my musical ideas. Melody that is in my head comes out differently & I get lost. Could you perhaps recommend some exercisse that will help me ? Many thanks & whish you all the best, kind regards, Peter
Discovered a few months ago and still love and adore this warm-up, Markus' warmth and the whole wonderfully diverse crew! It feels less lonely to warm-up together with you all! Could we have an other one please? ^-^
Really enjoyed this, it took me back to when I was performing in Joseph and Sunset. #taniawhatley
First LOL but really that was so pretty!
I am Japanese Tokyo
We love this, but everyone in my current cast can't agree on what is being sung. Yonder, yonder, yonder?
