How did you come to that conclusion? Remember the rule says the whole circumference of the ball must cross the line. So, for me its inconclusive because from the angle they were looking from, you only see underneath. If we had goal line technology, we would be having a clear conclusion. It also happened in the EPL game between Arsenal and Newcastle where VAR could not rule if the ball went out before Newcastle scored the goal due to not having an accurate angle. I think what we need to push in Africa, is that we have both VAR and goal line technology, especially in high profile matches like this one.

He only go on the instruction of the 3 VAR analysts. They first check then tell him to go check before he makes the decision. If they are sure it is not q goal or a foul. Its a goal,entire circumference of the ball crossed the line &bounced back into play,it did cross the line.But one cannot say young Africans would have went on to win the game cause most teams push for equalising goal when they are 1-0 down&Young Africans were going to park the bus .It would be fair to get a replay.You cant declare Young Lions winners even if it was last minute of the match.It wasn't fault of Sundowns players or their coach but match officials.Name one football club that hasnt met unfair offciating.I dont think Sundowns players would have been unhappy with the goal cause the way Young Africans played sundowns would have still won the game.As a Sundowns fan,replay or not we would still win the match.
