Check it out their solo songs Hwasa - twit or maria Wheein - anymore or goodbye or easy Solar - spit it out etc Moonbyul - eclipse or absence or selfish If you want watching introduction guide I recommend you to watch introduction guide mamamoo by purple hawke. With 30-40 minutes maybe it's really compleate i think. Or maybe you want watch with no longer video. I recommend you to react ultimate introduction guide. But i think it's really good introduction guide but not really complete like purple hawke. If you want watch mamamoo vokal focust You should react to mamamoo immortals songs medley. Mamamoo live performance in mama 2018 , 2019

when you said that all three songs sound so different yet you just know that they are sung by the same group, i got to agree 100x! mamamoo has a wide variety of genres in their discography that you just have a song for every mood you have. i recommend watching an intro guide (preferrably by purple hawke) if you want to get to know more of them :)

For most of us moomoos we don't have bias to the group but love all of them by their distinctive and collective charisma.

I’m a huge fan of your reactions, I love them because they are one of the few artists that can perform live the way they do it in studio

Um Oh Ah Yea was the first video I watched of theirs. But at the time I was not really into KPop aside from 2NE1, TVXQ and Big Bang so they were not really on my radar. They found my radar again with HIP. HIP made me go back and really check into Mamamoo. Egotistic is the song that made me a MooMoo.. and it was the 5th MV after HIP that I watched- Starry Night, Mr Ambiguous, Piano Man, Decalomanie, Yes I Am, Egotistic. Gogobebe, Paint Me, 1 CM Taller,Wanna Be Myself and Wind Flower fallowed after as did a rewatch of Um Oh Ah Yeah. I love them all, but Moonbyul is my bias. Even though they all will wreck, Solar is my bias wrecker. She especially did it in Egotistic.. I could not handle blonde Yongsun and all those shots.

Cherri completely avoiding any commentary on the egotistic mv is so funny😂

You have to watch MAMA 2018 to see their overwhelming presence on stage, pleasssse

Not sure you want to wait until you've seen all their MVs before watching a guide. Mamamoo has been around since 2014 so there are lots of MVs to catch up on and the group MVs are just the tip of the iceberg. Other important categories: * MMM live. Mamamoo is best when they're live because of their fantastic, always live vocals (they can't lip sync to save their lives), their riveting stage presence and amazing chemistry. The usual starter recommendation by moomoos (MMM fans) is their performance of Immortal Songs Medley in 2017, a medley of early songs from the next category. * MMM on Immortal Songs 2. Immortal Songs 2 is a long-running singing competition tv show in Korea, featuring many of Korea's best mainstream singers and groups but not many kpop groups. The competitors sing new arrangements of classic (immortal) songs by older artists, who usually appear on the show - each episode is a tribute as well as a competition. Kpop groups are a small percentage of the artists on IS2 and they don't perform frequently and rarely win the competition but MMM has been on IS2 14 times and won three times. No other kpop group has multiple wins. Their IS2 performances are live of course but since all the material is older songs rather than kpop hits this category is different than MMM live doing their own songs or covers of contemporary songs. IS2 is almost a parallel career for MMM as an old school girl group and their focus on the show is to showcase their individual singing & rapping skills and their harmonies & vocal arrangements. MMM's appearances on IS2 brought them a lot of attention by the general public and helped establish their rep as true artists, not just teen idols. All 14 covers on IS2 are spectacular but my favorites are Delilah and Backwoods. * MMM as solo artists. Each member also has a solo career and it's often said that MMM is an all-star group of four solo artists. MMM is the only kpop group to have all members hit Billboard's charts as soloists while the group is still active (2NE1 also did it after they disbanded). At the beginning of 2020 Mamamoo took the first extended break of their career but the members soon started working on solo projects and they recently came together as a group to collaborate on a song called It's Fun by kpop legend Rain. Btw, we expect a new MMM album sometime this fall. Here's a partial list of their 2020 solo work with a bit of member info in age order from oldest to youngest using the Egotistic MV for ID: Solar (pole dancer) - leader, singer. Solo debut song Spit It Out. Regular vids on her yt channel Solarsido including challenges such as sky diving and a trip to a deserted island. She also uploads casual song covers and song medleys, both solo and with frequent MMM collaborator, singer-songwriter Cosmic Girl. Moonbyul (throws chair) - rapper, performance (dancer). Dark Side of the Moon EP w/groundbreaking gender neutral single Eclipse. Moonbyul also uploaded a performance video for her song Absence and she recently started hosting a regular radio show with guests including Solar and her friends Seulgi of Red Velvet and Soojin of (G)I-dle. Wheein (fire starter w/car) - singer, performance (dancer). Wheein was sick to start the year and was the member most in need of a break. Since recovering she has uploaded song and dance covers on MMM's yt channel, did an OST song for a kdrama, and was a featured guest singer on songs by DinDin and Peakboy. Hwasa (w/jaguar) - singer, rapper. Maria EP w/main single Maria. Simply one of the best kpop albums of the year. Maria has won 5 times on tv music shows despite only having a short promotional period, partially due to a back injury just prior to Maria's release. Maria is Hwasa's Catholic baptismal name, btw. Hwasa also did an OST song for a kdrama and is a regular on the tv variety shows I Live Alone and the spin-off Girls' Secret Party. She was recently invited to be part of a new girl supergroup called Refund Expedition (aka Refund Sisters) formed by another kpop legend, Lee Hyori, which also includes singer/actor Uhm Junghwa and rapper Jessi. Note that MMM doesn't have official positions other than Solar as the leader and they all sing, rap and dance well. When they introduce themselves they usually mention two primary responsibilities in the group, the ones I mentioned. Guide Videos: my favs are the three by What Girl - The Ultimate Mamamoo Introduction Video, Mamamoo's Story, and Mamamoo Has It All (Get To Know MMM). Sondery's Introduction Guide to Mamamoo is the old standard. It's a year old so it's a bit dated but it's an excellent guide and well worth watching. Enjoy getting to know Mamamoo!

@@CherriReacts Good for you! They're extremely diverse musically so there's something for every taste. For example, they started with a bunch of songs in a retro jazz/swing/r&b style (ex: Piano Man), there's the comedic hip hop song 1 CM/Taller Than You, the gender bender crackhead MV for Um Oh Ah Yeah, or the beautiful ballad Paint Me,, just to name a few completely different songs. Pick whatever catches your eye or makes your nose twitch and have fun exploring one of the deepest and wackiest rabbit holes in kpop! 😂 Btw, this is important if you want subtitles for the MVs from 2014-17 (which I recommend). There are two official versions of the MVs, one with and one without subtitles. You MUST watch the MV on Mamamoo's yt channel rather than the one that comes up with a standard yt search (edit: for subtitles). Just use the search field on MMM's yt channel to find the MV you're looking for.

Then you can get to the crazy videos, of their dance practices.. or the ultra cute ‘waggy’ (you have a choice of costumes here). And even the cv’s that they did. I won’t mention names until you react to them, as it is a cool surprise.

Before delving into guides, live stages & solo work, I would suggest three more MV's for you. (1) "WIND FLOWER", (2) "DECALOMANIE" & (3) "YOU'RE THE BEST". All killer no filler. Mamamoo is a group that doesn't require a bias. All four girls are amazing. Solar is the leader, a puff ball & so very beautiful and talented. Hwasa brings stage presence to a whole other level. Korea's current "it girl". Moonbyul is one hell of a rapper and one of Kpop's resident "Girl Crushes". Wheein is the puppy & shortie of the group. She has a voice like honey and is a mood maker on stage and off. How do you choose? I went with Wheein because she is criminally underrated by the public. When you get to know her, she will steal you heart. And who doesn't like puppies.

Thank you for your reaction! Told you, you'd like them! Here's another one of my long comnents. Mamamoo is amazing. My favirite girlgroup. To the members. The girl with the black hair in all videos with the strong presence who stood out to you is my bias Hwasa. The rapper with the deep voice is Moonbyul. The girl on the pole in Egotistic, long blond hair in starry knight and the boxer in HIP is the leader Solar and the girl with brown hair in Egotistic, short blond in Starry Night and blue in HIP is Wheein. They all have solo songs witch I can realy recommend. Hwasa dropped a solo album not to long ago with 2 amazing MV's called Maria and LMM. Both songs are incredible. The song you hear at the end of Starry Night is also one of her solo songs that has an MV called Be Calm. They are amazing live. Like mentioned before they are known as the vocal queens of kpop and you just got a taste. For a live performence I recommend their Immortal Songs Medley. This a medley of popular classic Korean songs they did covers of for the show Immortal Songs. It really showcases their vocals. As for a Guide. I think the one by "what girl" is the best. They are an amazing Group, great role models and they are the vocal queens of K-pop. Their live performances are always stunning. With them Is really hard to pick a bias. you can check out the Ultimate intruduction guide to mamamoo, as their live performances in this show called inmortal songs...they are all crackheads when they are together. I recomend you to see gogobebe, windflower and gleam(this was a product placement mv but is 🔥) Nice reaction 😁

Egotistic and starry night r part of their project called 4 season 4 colours. Starry Night is the tittle track for Spring album, Yellow Flower. Egotistic is the tittle track for Summer album, red moon. I recommend u to react to Autumn and winter tittle track, which r Windflower and Gogobebe. And a song called Paint Me is the starter of 4 season 4 colour project. Snippet of songs in starry night is by Hwasa(the one that might be your bias,the black hair in Egotistic) tittled Be Calm, its a solo song. Each 4 season album has members' solo song in it. You may want to check out their decalcomanie and windflower mv's. Those are my fave. And moonbyul's absence. Any decalcomanie live performances are good, but the best one for me is the one they were on suit. They are all so handsome 🥰 If you want to see them being funny, watch why mamamoo should not be left hosting their own radio live.

what i love the most abt these girls are their music speaks.

At the end of Starry Night, it's a snippet of Hwasa's song called Be Calm. You should react to it, as well as other solo songs: Hwasa: Twit, Maria, LMM, Orbit (OST) Wheein: 25, Easy, Goodbye, With My Tears (OST) Moonbyul: Eclipse, Snow, Selfish, Iljido Solar: Spit It Out, It's Been Awhile, Hello, Angel (with Wheein)

Yahhhhh better check them out in live. Any live performance will do. You'll definitely love them more. They dont do lipsync by the wa and more adlibs in live performance.

Actually, Mamamoo is very talented on the stage in live. Their live version always better than mv or studio version. And they well trained together, make harmony perfectly. So I recommend ‘immortal songs mamamoo’. It is the cover contest and participants sing live. Mamamoo sings 13 times in that TV show and performed nicely.

your right i ve seen all their videos and keep changing biases...meaning cant pick one cause they're all so unique

oh, there is so much content with these women... they've got hundreds of songs on their own and that's before counting collabs, featurings, ost work and the like, which pretty much doubles the amount of songs they've been involved in. and then there's the live performances, whether it's at festivals, on music shows, their concerts or whatever... as others have said, these women are best when live, esp with a live band. and then there's the interviews, the variety shows, their own show 'mamamoo tv' (mmmtv) that is mostly behind the scenes stuff of them goofing around before, during and after concerts, when traveling between events, or during mv filming, all of which manages to showcase both their down to earth personalities and their absolute craziness when together. one thing about these four is they are always unabashedly themselves no matter what, they never try to sugarcoat or fake anything. that said, they're different when onstage and offstage, which most easy to see with hwasa, the one whose stage presence you kept mentioning... all four of these women will demand 100% of your attention when they're center stage, then drop out so the next one can demand your focus, but hwasa frequently just seems next level with her presence and demeanor. and then you see her offstage when she's goofing around backstage or hanging out with her friends or family on the show 'i live alone' and you see how she's the sweetest, softest young lady out there can't go wrong with whatever you pick, all of their work is top-notch and they're heavily involved with the vast majority of it, which is sadly a rarity in kpop, esp for girl groups, where they're generally just given a song and choreography, told 'this is how you're going to sing it, here's how you'll perform it, learn it, don't change anything'. creative freedom is still quite a rarity in the world of kpop (again, esp for girl groups), but that is slowly changing. mamamoo frequently write their own songs, or at minimum, have a say in the direction the music is going (for example, their songwriter ceo has said they've vetoed several songs he wrote for them, making him scrap the things or give them to other artists and write new things that followed what the girls wanted) and until recently, they've created the choreography for all their own songs (their latest title tracks, starting with "gogo bebe" being the exception. "gogo bebe", "hip", moonbyul's "eclipse", solar's "spit it out" and hwasa's "maria" were all choreographed by big name choreographers, just to show people that yes these women *can* dance to harder choreo while still singing live. we're expecting similar to happen with the group comeback and wheein's solo comeback, both slated for later this year). the girls still create their own choreo for the b sides they perform live since you already checked out "starry night" and "egotistic", i'd suggest picking up the other two title tracks for their four seasons, four colors project. in that project, they released 4 albums over the course of a year, each one dedicated to a color, a season and a member of the group (who got a solo song on the album). i'll list the four albums in order here: they started with a pre-release song, "paint me", that sort of introduced the concept we were going to get, though nobody really realized it at the time. we were just blown away by a powerful ballad that included moonbyul's (the rapper) official singing debut) the first album was 'yellow flower', built around spring, the color yellow and hwasa, the member with the crazy stage presence. the title track was "starry night", the promoted b-side was "star wind flower sun" (a tribute to the fans and the other three members, written by solar) and hwasa's solo was "be calm", which you heard a snippet of at the end of "starry night" here the second album, 'red moon', was summer, red and moonbyul, the rapper. the title track was "egotistic", promoted b-side was the hiphop comedy song "sleep in the car" and byul's solo was 'selfish" featuring seulgi of red velvet the third album, 'blue;s' was autumn, blue and solar, the leader of the group and most known for belting. title track is "wind flower" and is a lot calmer than the other three title tracks in the project, promoted b-side is "no more drama" and solar's solo is "hello", the only solo song in the project without an official mv, though there's a beautiful unofficial one on solar's youtube channel, solarsido (btw, solar has a yt channel and posts at least once a week, frequently twice a week) the final album in the project, 'white wind', focused on winter, white and wheein. the title track is "gogo bebe" and the promoted b-side is a ridiculously catchy and adorable bossa nova type track called "waggy". wheein's solo is "25", about the awkwardness of hitting that age

And everyone struggle for a bias with Mamamoo. Just when i think i settle i change my mind. Every song or mv it changes because of their voice, personality...etc. But that's not a bad thing. It's good to know that it's hard juat goes to show how good they really are, their presence is no joke. And i don't like the whole bias thing I think all members of a group should be love on an equal playing field but..........it is what it is but my bias is all. And their videos and guides DOES NOT HELP IT GETS MORE HARD. And don't get me started on their live performances...... You should checkout Sonderyand Purple Hawkw guide

Before you pick a bias check their covers, live performances, performance vids, solos and collabs as they able to stretch their vocals more. Until then you'll be torn.😁 You will not belive the amount of content you can do in 6 years. Their live performances are better than their MV's.

You should watch a guide to know a bit more about the members. Personally I like "A (hopefully) helpful guide to MAMAMOO" by Heaven. Each member has an equal amount of time dedicated to them and is more recent than Purple Hawk's. Although you can watch both. Us moomoos watch all the guides lol. There's also really good ones on each specific member. Edit: corrected the title of the guide

I recommend you to watch guides from What Girl The Ultimate MAMAMOO Introduction MMM Has It All MAMAMOO’S story The other guide (introducing mamamoo by purple hawke) are also good and funny af but the creator fucked up 1 of the member part which she get less than 7 minutes for her part but the other member gets 10-12 minutes.
