Hwasa may not be the prettiest kpop idol but she has something ridiculously unique about her. Her body movements, hand gestures & eye contact screamed SASSY. She's a born performer. I'm so in love!!!!!!!!!!!!! edit: I'm literally complimenting her. I never said that she's ugly or whatnot, merely pointing out the fact that she doesn't fit into Korean monotonous beauty standards yet she still shines on stage. Even Hwasa acknowledged this. I don’t mean to come off as offensive or shading here, but I think it’s safe to say that a lot of GGs (and BBs) tend to just be pretty faces and do whatever their companies tell then to do. They’re more of a brand than artists. I never stanned a GG or even a BB before because I always knew in the back of my head that it was all superficial (to varying degrees), but Mamamoo is so much different. They have a lot of creative freedom in their work, and it shows. You can tell they care a lot about their work and the artistry of music, as well as how they can use their art to deliver messages they think is important. Again, not shading or being offensive, but this is just my observations and opinions.

Khalid Isa i love Apink too but nop some of their members doesn't have the consistency and sometimes they aren't stable. Please stability and consistency are different. The reason most of all the GG in korean has Sountrack vocals, or the sountrack vocals are louder than the live mic, is that they can lip sync whenever they want. Mamamoo is the only GG group that has almost to none of that because they can do it live anyway. The closest of almost to none ST vocals are 2nd and 3rd gg's main vocalists (new gg now are what I call 4th gens IDK why people are calling them 3rd gens maybe they think SNSD, WG gen are the first one). But newer GG like Twice, BP you can clearly hear the sountrack backing them up because of their poor vocals. They have good faces anyway but performance wise? they badly fail.

Latin-inspired songs are really frequent in K-pop these days, and yet MAMAMOO presented it like they started those Latin-inspired songs. They always bring class and authenticity when it comes to performing on stages. To be honest, the songs on the "Red Moon" album could compete with the biggest girl groups in the industry. Personally, it is one of the best albums that MAMAMOO has released. Of course, they'll win some awards for "Egotistic". They're doing well on charts, but it will be hard, Chungha and TWICE are still ahead of them in charts. But I'm certain that they'll have, at least a win in minimum.

Back when mamamoo first started, i was obsessed with wanting them to win everything because they deserve the recognition from everyone. But now i'm just happy seeing them performing and having fun experimenting new genre and expanding as artists. They present amazing music qualities that i truly appreciate as a fan ✨ go mamamoo!!

I'm not multifandom nor I'm into girl groups, but if i had to choose a favourite group after BTS, it would definitely be mamamoo. Hold up??? How come this isnt the most popular girl group?? Like look they have soo much more potential WHAT?? See I am very new to them but I know all their names and no I don't stan any other girl groups I only stan BTS so far but I have never seen such amazing girl group the rest are all the same but this girl group mamamoo is something else wow just wow! I swear, there's something about Mamamoo in their Egotistic era. It's as if their confidence was suddenly through the roof especially Moonbyul. I never realized that this outfit of hers was see-through and yet she's comfortable with it (despite being dubbed as Conservative Moonbyul). Not to mention she harmonized with all the members at the end and I love it.
