what's wrong with high-pitched "girly" voices? ofc it's bad if it's forced and is done unwillingly, but what's the deal if it's naturally like that? dont disguise ur misogyny with the intention to compliment MMM :// (and, no, this isnt even about preferences lmao. this comment reeks of pick me.) Mel V I love MAMAMOO but it takes more then just two songs to be established in the korean culture. They have to be a cultural phenomenon to be able to engrave themselves in the korean culture. To be able to become a cultural phenomenon, the Koreans are the ones who will establish that because becoming a cultural phenomenon is where your representing Korea. So for them to have established themselves in the korean culture is if these songs r to become tremendous hits where the Koreans trust it to represent their culture because look at SNSD, they didn't establish themselves into the culture until they released Oh and Run Devil Run even after their mega hit Gee and same with Big Bang, they didn't establish themselves into the culture until Haru Haru and Lies.

That's one of the reasons why I love and respect mamamoo THAT much: looking at the Korean girls in k-dramas, music and shows it's pretty easy to notice Korean beauty standards. i was already a pretty big moomoo but like i recently became a huge ass moomoo and i was watching their debut stage and compared it to this (their most recent comeback) and oh my fuck, i can't find a difference in their charisma, stage presence, energy and talent at all. from the beginning they were always this professional and just, they're one of the few groups where i can truly and meaningfully say that they were born to be stars. from the talent, to the visuals, to the charisma, to the uniqueness and to their personalities; this will always be their fate. they were destined to become singers and holy shit they're so amazing

The best thing about mamamoo is that they are unique and talented. Tbh I was very much tired of listening to the girl groups....the k-pop girl groups are pretty much same.... stereotypical, and I can't even differentiate their voices. But mamamoo is sooooo real....the 4 queens have unique style of singing and obviously have their own personalities.
