Listen to the innovative sounds at the beginning, building up the momentum for the fight sequence. RD Burman was a master of background scores also. Raw street fights with excellent score. So like West Side Story and later Josh's 'Sailaru' song.

What an irony, Javed Akhtar has written the lyrics of this song and it includes the phrase "Goli Maaro".

@@111danish111 He's refering to the infamous line that triggered off the muslim community during Delhi elections campaign by Anurag Thakur of the BJP, amidst shaheenbaug protests against NRC/ CAA, the protest which also had Javed Akhtar's support. The line was "desh ke gaddaaron ko, goli maaro s**lon ko"

Arjun was a classic movie, the action scenes in the movie were shot considering the actual gang fights taking place in those times in Bombay like throwing soda bottles, fighting with hockey sticks and rods. There was not much use of the guns in those times.

Oh my God Bombay streets of the 80s

The orchestration is stylish, subtle and never presses the voices down (Shailendra Singh's voice is not easy to press down of course). The chorus is used so beautifully, song of angry youth !

One of the bestest song , amazing chorus and Shailendra Singh magical voice, best lyrics, and of course The R.D. Burman music my all time favourite song featuring my all time favourite actor.
