We don't think it's scary because the jumpscare is so "lame". I like it but, it's not scary, not even the first time. It just turns to black and then she goes left and right, the jumpscare sound isn't very loud and there are footsteps right before she jumpscares you so you know when it's gonna happen, aside from that I guess it can be a creepy game. Always loved that game.

I was always terrified of Mama's stupid voice sounding old timey. The developer did a good job on the voicing.

Collecting all the eggs give you the good ending and Golden Flashlight It's recomended to get the golden flashlight before starting the Kaleidoscope DLC because the overall colors at some point in the DLC are blueish wich is the same as the normal flashlight's light (also the golden last longer so less shake/noise)

This gives so many nostalgic vibes, I'm happy to see a classic indie game being brought back! I used to love this game so much :)

What a nostalgia trip. Tattletale was the first horror game that finally got me into horror a lot more afterwards. Which then led me to your channel, Mike.

It's too bad you didn't collect everything since to jog memories they're how you get the good end. Nice to see this again after so long. It feels like I either forgot something or there was a small update cause I don't remember the bathroom being available, I could have sworn you have the flashlight at the start & everything echoes in the garage. Either way still a nice moment on memory lane.

I still love this game very much! It may be short, but it's a gem nonetheless! Oh! Also, did you know that the creator of Tattletail released a game about a week ago called Neon White? It's ALSO a very good game and there's even a Tattletail in it as a reference! Also (×2), there was also a bit of talk from the Co-Creator of Tattletail about wanting to make an animated series for Tattletail. The last time she mentioned it was a year ago, but at the same time, she hasn't confirmed or denied it being canceled, so we'll see what happens later on.

I remember very vividly when this came out and everyone went mental over it, so cool to see Mike playing it many years later :) Edit: Does anyone else find it terrifying how Mama's head can do a full 180 like an owl?

As a brief refresher, the eggs determine what ending you get. You got the bad ending because you didn't collect them all

Not sure about a sequel, but there WAS talk about an animated series from the Co-Creator herself. The last time it was mentioned was about a year ago, but at the same time, she didn't confirm or deny it being canceled, so I guess only time will tell

THE nostalgia is HITTING hardd omg i remember everyone playing this game! It definitely is not as scary as i thought back then but it is a thriller like experience because of how much you have to do and trying to make as little noise as possible, definitely heart beat raising and the winding up noise is dreadful!

Fun Fact: The House who is similar to the Protagonist's House is Franklin's Old House from Grand Theft Auto 5.

The timing! I was listening to Tattletale songs when i got a notification for this video!!

I’ve seen this community and game grow popular and die with my own eyes and it is honestly sad to see one of my favorite indie horror game die. One of few popular indie horror games that didn’t get the horrible KZread kids animators hopping on the trend. I am still surprised that barely anyone knows about the dlc

In their most recent project Neon White (shocking turn of game genre I know-), you can collect gifts for the 5 characters to get bonus levels and storytelling. One of the prizes just so happens to be Tattletail! Trademark and all! It's just a cameo sadly, but it's still very cool even after so long Ben and Geneva still acknowledge their messed up Furby son.

Could you possibly cover Malediction chapter 1? It’s okay if not obviously, I just feel like it deserves a lot of attention. It has a good story, good characters, elements of horror and comedy and it’s just really fun. It’s a choose your own adventure type KZread video and it’s really unique

You were hoping for a sequel? I thought Tattletail was just a one-and-done game. Perhaps the creators never intended to make a sequel and they’ve stuck to their word.

Yeah. Ben and Geneva seem to have a knack with making one hit wonders. Like Donut County and probably Neon White will follow the trend I've heard that an animated series is on the table but will probably not happen due to the idea being shot down by streaming services. Sequel? Glad we didn't get one. The story kind of wraps perfectly with just this and the DLC. I can live off Tattletail just being a cameo in their newer games cause at the least he's still their golden child

Yes, please make more theory videos! There are so many things about this game that appear to be completely unexplained, for example, I still have no idea what the kaleidoscope dlc was all about, there’s no in game explanation on the person writing the letters and why the protagonist can’t remember the events of the game. Also, it’s perfectly fine to play a Christmas themed game in June, I live like Halloween is all year round.

@@pineappleprincess9704 That actually makes perfect sense, but unfortunately, all of the other stuff hasn’t been explained. Again, the letters, and one major thing I forgot to mention was the lack of explanation for how Mama and all of those other tattletails got in the house. Yes, the tattletail the player carries was a Christmas present, but we still don’t know about all of the other ones. Especially since Mama Tattletail was supposed to be discontinued.

It's not too farfetched to play a Christmas game now. I know in the American Midwest we have "Christmas in July" event (July is just around the corner) Hallmark Christmas movies play on certain channels and some businesses try to sell off old Christmas merchandise. Id rather see Christmas horror than Christmas Hallmark movies.

So about Tattletail eating food: There WAS a doll made that actually made a chewing motion - although it was plastic food that cane packaged with it. It was Mattel's Cabbage Patch Snacktime doll, and the company recalled it because hair and fingers would get caught in the mouth and be "eaten" by the doll.
