@@beanez1951 I see your logic, but if we had to guess what came after Fiesta, he would eventually shoot the dog (as his mom told him) and gone through one of the other endings. So by itself yes, it is the best, but it is likely not as great after a few days or weeks.

Also In the nuke ending if you wait until the credits end you will see the dog coming close to you I know you think he's going to kill you but he didn't when he gets close to the kid the company logo interrupts what the dog was going to do with the kid but if you are in VR you can peak behind the company logo and you will see the dog is comforting the kid

Reasoning being that in both endings, the kid is trapped forever. In Dead, he's stuck above the stage set. In Stuck Forever, he's stuck inside the game.

This is the nuke ending in the vr version

If you didn’t know, the nuke ending has more to it. After a while of credits and looking for relatives, you come across the dog and you go to it and then something hides you and the dog. Lots of people assume the dog then kills the child but actually, the dog ends up comforting him. Weird, huh?

In the Nuke ending, you’ll actually see the dog making his way to David in his nightmare form. The “Stress Level 0” icon will cover up what happens to David, but if you look behind the icon the dog is actually comforting him, as he knows what it’s like to be stuck in a video game.

Dog ending is clearly inspired by Silent Hill 2. "It was you all along?" is another reference and what James says to Mira the Shiba Inu in SH's own Dog Ending

I love how the best men and nuke ending both mention the game developers. In nuke when the kid is calling people he is calling names of the developers, and in the best men ending the guy that says the names of people who got killed is saying the names of the developers

The ending with the dog getting shot is hilarious. It's like the police are worried about the budget and need to use up all their bullets this quarter so they just keep shooting him. Also the knife is like glued to his hand.

After the dog gets killed in the Best Men Ending you can hear the guy in the helicopter leave while saying "Nananana nananana nananana!" That made me smirk a little :) 9:57

I feel like the "dead" ending is one of the best ones to get because instead of being an orphan, he is now in paradise with his mother. the other ending that is also good is the one where you don't shoot the dog at all. I think this way because they both result in keeping the person they love the most (The Mother).

The ‘Dead’ and ‘Dog’ ending show that there is no sadness or scariness to the story. It’s all just a game, and the characters know and expect that. Nothing truly happens after the game. It’s just a game.

For me, it’s the funniest, the other endings have either the kid dying, the mother dying, the game guy dying, or no one dying. this is one of the 2 no one endings

Another thing about the nuke ending is that the dog (in his deamon form even if we shoot him or not) walks up to david and when he gets a bit closer to him the stress level zero logo appears in front of us covering up what the dog is about to do to David (from what most people thought he was going to kill David). But if you actually peak behind the logo out of curiosity. The dog is actually comforting david

This is indeed one of the best horror games Ive watched in my childhood

I love the 3 endings the one where the dog comforts you the one where you help him with the credits and the one where your stuck in the tv alone and the dog is free and he waves at you

Well nuke ending is not bad. I think it's neutral. Because after the dog came to our main character and logo rolls in you can look behind it (only in vr version) you can see that dog is just comforting our character and not killing him or anything.

Dog ending might be a ref to silent hill 2's since it also had one. I could be wrong though.
