Italian men are the way they are, in a positive sense, BECAUSE of their close relationship with their mothers. They were adored and loved their entire lives - it's why they have a certain openess and sensitivity on an emotional level.

When Italian men get angry they either get loud or are completely silent

Good video! My italian fiance said that when they introduce you to their mom, you know they are serious haha XD

My boyfriend also values the most his family. It’s a good thing, but nowadays people make it sounds like a bad thing🙂

This was interesting to watch, and i can relate so much as I'm dating an Italian man and everything you are saying is very true. Now talking about Italian men being 'mama's boys' so true.....and from what I observed, this is what I thought- he likes food, and his mama likes to cook....so there you go, the two will always bond specially, and i actually think this is same for most Italian men: they love their Italian tradition foods and their mamas are great traditional Italian cooks...all the same, they are very lovely people, and i for one, couldn't wish for anything more.

First time a noticed Italian guys are cute was when coming across with a YT film. It was on a wedding ceremony between an Italian guy and a girl from Taiwan. The groom had his buddies playing a band and they were singing a very well-known and symbolic song in Taiwan. That’s the moment when I realized Italian man are cute, romantic and very good singers. I really enjoyed watching this Q&A. Very straightforward. 👍

A new subscriber here. I, too, am married to a 3rd generation Italian-American. His grandparents came directly from Italy. His parents are both Italians, 2nd generation. Unfortunately, my husband does not speak Italian. His mother whom he was very close to had passed away about 3 yrs ago. I would say that he was a mama's boy in a good way. I'm lucky to have him as my husband. Aside from being an excellent cook, he is loving, caring, and loyal.

I have a Italian boyfreind I'm a transgender from philipines he's very smart kind and thoughtful he's older than me 30yrs gap but it's doesn't matter I feel the respect and acceptance from him that's why I'll always pray that go gave him a long life.. he's with me last year and now planing to back this June imiss him 😍🥺

I posted pics on my status and he went OFF! and said I show everybody my pics...I was like no I program who can see my status! Wow! Really? I have chatted an Italian man too for 3 months after 3 months, he visited me here in Philippines and tsada we're in a relationship after a few days of being together. I love him, and our meeting went well. Now, he's in Italy. I miss him a lot. They're really passionate on expressing their feelings. What is wrong with being mama's boys? Afterall it is the mamas who are always there and how can be there be any comparison with mama and wife each have their separate places one cannot be the substitute of the other. Is is mandatory to embrace the British and American cultures?

For my experience a lot of them can't seem to make their own decisions. Nothing wrong with loving your mom and seeking her advice but if you need to get her approval on everything which can infuriating.
