"there's a settlement that needs our help" honestly fallout 4 was okay, didn't care much for the story or any of the side quests but the gunplay was good that's about it. Definitely didn't feel like an RPG anymore, n definitely can't compare to fallout 3 & NV

@@Kratos-eg7ez That's where I am at too. I call Fallout 4 hot trash, but it's a functional game that can entertain someone for tens of hours. It's just not a good Fallout game. It can't hold a candle to NV or 3. It didn't live up to our reasonable expectations. I hope the rumoured Fallout New Vegas successor brings the franchise back to it's early 2010s days. I want to play Fallout because of it's unique setting and gameplay, I don't want a generic apocalyptic shooter as that wom't cut it anymore (Fallout 3 is excused because it was the beginning of the 3D era).

I conveniently intervened the Battle of Concord when I was level 80+ after putting Preston on hold when I was just passing through on my way to Diamond City at the beginning of the game. Crazy to think how they were holed up in the Museum of Freedom for months on end while I lived my life to the fullest in the wasteland without a care in the world

They want her back because she could kill all Deathclaws and behemoths with one bullet.

I genuinely love that this battle is not "oh, bad raiders" but actually justified action

Yeah mama Murphy gives out the deactivation code for the first courser and reveals mayor Mc Doughnahs extra lost keys to Kellogg’s house and on top of all that can give you a free buff in your fight against Kellogg since you are “forewarned” (not even joking Kellogg literally becomes weaker because of Murphy’s sight)

@@joaogabrielcoelho9744 Maybe they were psykkers. But if Jared didn't start seeing things by the first needle, he never would've. A psykker is someone in the Fallout Universe _born_ with the ability to see things they shouldn't. They usually have some debilitating side affect that makes them an oddball to others. Murphy's just the most recent in a long list of people with esp who show up throughout the series.

It’s also theorized that Jared is her son, hence why he made the effort

I played Fallout 4 before playing New Vegas. I was really accustomed to understanding the story by terminals and I was a bit disappointed it wasn't like this in New Vegas.

“The Battle of Concord” seems a bit exaggerated

One of the many things I enjoy about fallout 4 is how a lot of the raider gangs are actually connected to the commonwealth. You see how the Boston supply depot is connected to the brewery; how raiding parties at certain places were sent out from major locations. How Libertalia was once Minutemen, and possibly then led by a rogue synth. How u can hear raiders talk about Swans Pond. The gunners messing with the raiders near Jamaica Plains. Etc etc

That was really nice. We don't have different raider tribes with different names like in New Vegas, but instead we have tons of raider groups with a leader and with interactions with each other. It worked very well in the region of Massachusetts

Would have been cool if she setup his kidnapping so her vision is comes true and she has been doing it for years to make her vision truth. Would have made for a great storyline.

Id never read these until just a few days ago. Honestly, idk why i never read the terminal logs in fallout 4. They are great.

Also the people at the Four Leaf Fishpacking Plant seem to have a connection with Jared

I Played today and found out that if you took out Other Raider groups before killing jared there Would be a special log that somebody killed the guys who are obsessed with fire and smth like that

That would explain why one the guys I killed had the corevega key on them.

Actually I did know that bc when I killed the raiders outside the museum of freedom I literally picked up the key to the Corvega assembly plant thingy and I went there and killed the Jared and his gang. I actually went inside the terminal for once for like some lore and I found that note that he written in the terminal

These Raiders are terrible at their Job of retrieval.

It has been awhile since i played but i last remember that he did have the sight but it was inferior to mama murphys and mama murphys itself is supposed to be inferior to the boy from fallout nv but he was searching for mama murphy to better learn how to use his own gift and i might be wrong about this but i think he inadvertently caused the deathclaw that also appears when you save preston having forced his raiders to dig under the plant for some reason or another which i think is revealed if you follow the tunnel from the deathclaws appearance but it has been awhile since ive last played but this is definitely one of those smaller bits of world building i appreciate from fo4

You should’ve totally been able to side with the raiders and kill Preston here. No minutemen. People on their second play through would always kill Preston. For making us do those stupid ass settlement quests. Using a flare to call in raiders would actually work since they’re everywhere. Sturges would be the first synth you kill not just meet.
