Being in the forest seems to open the full palette of Freya's colors; her gold highlights look much brighter outside. And Ada's comfort level has improved over her outing with Buster although she remains more cautious than Freya. A success overall, I think.

@@Maine_Coon_Adventures Yes, a wonderful feat out in the wild, and to be able to film them, too! We used to walk our Maine Coon, Fluffy. He was the king of our condo complex, and we had other cats that would come with us. At one time Fluffy had an entourage of 5 other cats walking with him! He was an amazing and beautiful cat, just like all the great Maine Coons in your family!

Ada has grown so much. She's such a beauty. Mama Freya is absolutely gorgeous in the sun. Her coloring is so beautiful.

I am watching this for the second time.❤ I love your precious cat family so much 😊

My favorite part was at 6:12 when the hooman owner was holding his two girls. Of course,Luna is home taking care of her family.

I think Ada did so well,she's always been a bold kitten x it looks like she'll grow to be a very confident adult. Lovely to see Freya out x enjoying herself too. 😊

No doubt, Ada has her uncle's exploratory spirit.

Ada is utterly gorgeous, and her tail is floofing out so much, so beautifully. They both seem to have enjoyed this outing: Ada wanting to explore ahead, Freya wanting to explore behind! But Ada wanted you and Freya to catch up with her! And they both needed a fuss and treats! Wonderful to see. Thank you.

Ada seemed much more confident, walking properly and taking her treats. So lovely to see mother and daughter together and kudos to their human managing two leads and a camera. Just imagine if they'd gone round you in different directions. Thank you for a summer walk with cuckoos, they seem to have vanished from my bit of southern England.

Precious! I love the last scene with the 2 in their carriers, Ada was like YAY we’re going home!! Mama Freya was like, What the heck is this?! I was tricked!!! lol. they both really did seem to have a good time though :) I love the forest adventures! 🌲♥

Yes, but Freya was unusually curious (and hungry 😆) so that's why she did not always follow. Ada was still a bit nervous and liked to stay close to me

How Cute seeing Cat Mother and her Cat Daughter Together walking in The Forest. ❤️

Ada is so big now and beautiful! And cautious! Freya is so regal and elegant. I love watching your forest adventures. Of course because I’d never be able to take my girls out like that. Here in the US, forests can be so dangerous for them. Poisonous snakes, bugs that carry venom and disease, plants that are poisonous, as well as wildlife who would consider them prey. Kinda scary. In the breeder adoption contract, the health guarantee is forfeited if you allow them outdoors or declaw them. I keep my girls safe and happy in my home, with toys, fun activities on cat towers or condo, fluffy beds and pillows etc. We have screens on our windows so they get fresh air without exposure to hazards and plenty of active play time to keep them strong and healthy. Now that I’m retired, I spend time spoiling them. So your adventures are so fun to watch. Thanks for sharing. ❤

Loved this video. Both mom and daughter did well. Ada seems to be quite the explorer. I can see her and Buster with each other on many trips to the forest. Freya was interested in sampling the vegetation. At times, she seemed more hesitant than Ada. Two beautiful cats in a gorgeous setting. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, that's a good sign! It means they feel comfortable. If they are stressed, they won't eat.

It was a long time since I took her to the forest and I didn't know how comfortable she would be. But she did seem to like it a lot, so that's nice.

Such a nice video. I think Mama Freya & Princess Ada are wondering "where is Uncle Buster? He always goes to the forest." They seem a little more relaxed, but still not as relaxed as Uncle Buster is in the forest. Ada looks to be bigger than Mama Freya? Both of them are beautiful, for sure :)

Freya is still much taller, but Ada is a bit more chunky. But there is not much difference now in weight 🙂

They both seemed a bit hesitant to be out. I'm not sure what country your in, ( Switzerland? ) but I hope those ants aren't the kind to bite like we have here in the U.S. Although they didn't seem to be too bothered by them. And Ada seemed to be more than ready to leave, eagerly jumping into her carrier. It's good seeing them out & about. Do you walk any of your other cats around where you live or just in the forest?

Ada really looked like she spent the whole time looking for Uncle Buster and not enjoying the nice greens Mom was eating.

I think the ones I have are from Trixie, but don't know exactly what they are called. As you can see, they are very simple, but works great. Fastened both around the neck and chest.
