I play this to a kitten I adopted from the street few hours ago, now she/he is in a comfy blanket with some milk I bought from pet store. Since a kitten has a low surviving rate without it's mother, I play this to comfort the kitten. I really hope she/he can grow up healthy. Btw I need to feed and helping it excretion constantly every two hour, this will totally ruins my sleep schedule (which I never have before) Wish me and my kitten good luck.

I adopted an 1 day old abandoned kitten, he's now 4 years old, lots of work but totally worth it. He got an upper respiratory infection at a couple weeks, vet put him on banana flavored antibiotics and he cleared up in no time.

I want to thank you for this. This video helped me catch an abandoned/stray kitten that wouldn't come to me. I played it a few times with wet cst food and the poor baby came right out, crying like mad. It helped me save her life.

Drackore used that combination (video and wet food) today to lure out a stray that was under a car.

Trilling is more affectionate than purring?

My Emily surprised me by giving birth to a single perfect, healthy kitten under my bed three years ago. She talked to him like this all the time when he was little. Now that he is grown up and big, they don't get along anymore.. but she often picks up her stuffed toys and talks to them the same way. A little sad actually.

When I was just a boy (long ago!) we found an orphaned tabby kitten, which was adopted by our female sheepdog, and she raised the kitten as if it were her puppy! Those two remained bonded as friends all their lives!

I'm always amazed at the love these mommy cats pour into their babies. Neat!

Awwww, such a beautiful momma, and babies. I love the way she's murping, and cleaning her babies, she's a great mommy. 🥰

The mom must be really young herself. If you look at the 0:50 mark, her eyes are still changing color to all yellow. That's usually within the first year.

Pixtol yeah, our ability to create useful inventions and cure horrible diseases in both humans and animals is such a scourge to this world.

I love how she's like, "these are my babies." So cuuuute!

I still remember when my cat was in this phase. They’re the best memories ♥️ Her kittens are all grown up now and love their mommy.

i got a new kitten today and it found a hole in the bottom of my couch. She's not tame and couldn't find her way out. i put this video on and held my phone up to the hole, thank God it worked to get her out! 😃😃😃😍😍😍😀😀😀😊😊😊

Jeri Mata they are so good at finding holes. When my cat was a kitten, she found a hole under a kitchen cabinet and would go in there all the time. I was afraid she was going to get stuck in the wall or fall down to the unit beneath us. LOL

Thanks for posting. I never get tired of seeing and hearing a Mama cat do this. You can tell she herself was well nurtured

Aww, I have a rescued 7-week old black stray. I played this audio and he immediately sat up and looked around, then looked at my phone and began pawing at it and biting it. Also started purring (which he does when touched). Going to save this one. Not sure if it comforts him or makes him anxious to find his mama. Thanks for sharing.

our cat is a very good mother and she "speaks" to her kittens this way. when ever the kitten cries she would run to the kitten with this sound...

My cat makes this sound a million times a day lol. I love it!

I use this video a lot at a shelter where I volunteer. The kittens love it, especially ones that have been abandoned, they respond to it immediately. I also played it to a mum who would not nurse her kittens and she came over to them and made the same sounds :). Also my cat at home also makes these sounds. Thank you for this video ❤️

My cat did that when she has her first and recently when she had her five next kittens. What was really cute, she called her first one (5 months old) Dulcinea, she lay down and Dulcinea did the same with her head on her mother's chest. My dear cat always showed her motherly love no matter how old Dulcinea was.

She is a good mommy like our GINGER . She would wake them up to feed them in the middle of the night. So sweet.

These kittens could be the ones my stray i just brought in has! And she talks to them like this too! I love it!

Thank you so much for this video! I helped me a lot with adaptation of two really shy and scared kittens that had lost their mum at one month of age and were rescued by good people who feeded them and healed them. They are three months now, we adopted them on Friday and today for the first time they let me pet them both and they purred loudly - the thing that was totally impossible just the day before. I could never make such progress with them in so few days without this soothing sound of cat mother that helped to lure them out of their hiding place and play with them to ensure them that they are safe now. So thank you million times!

Had this playing on a speaker and my cat was trying to find the talking mama cat and he found my speaker and sat by it as if protecting it
