That part looked like it was taken a few weeks later. The kitten was a bit bigger. Mother cats are very protective of newborns.

Too much cuteness! This video made me cry. I think that cat moms are some of, if not the best, moms of the animal kingdom. They are so patient and loving and they know how to give their kittens the confidence that it takes to become an adult cat. They prepare them to become capable and independent adults. I think that humans could learn a lot from them in raising their own children.

In a way he is, since video of him (and other cats in the household) provides ad revenue to his human owners who then use that money to pay for the cats of the house, though of course the kittens are contributing just as much as well so then it's a wash.

Tommy had a paw in making these angels! Gotta step up! We rescued a stray pregnant cat last year, and our cat Mr. Biscuit immediately stepped up to fatherhood time he met the newborns. He kept cleaning the mother and the babies, while laying in the box with them even though they weren't his. He's been a father figure to many stray babies we've rescued and has such paternal instincts. It's okay Tommy, you'll get used to them! 💙

I love how he becomes a good dad when mom is watching.
