This music is like a blanket of nostalgia, wrapping me up in memories of times gone by. My late parents, my street, my school friends, movies, music.. This is all about that time, our time, down here.

Every time I come back to this song it gives me goosebumps. Whether I'm sad, reminiscing, anxious this just makes my day. Reminding us that that drum will keep beating and time will keep going, every step we take is onto something different but we never leave the things we love behind. They stay with us, just like that beating drum. I love this song and I'm so happy that I found it when I did.

I understand how hard it might be to make a good song. But a track that's even seven minutes!? Songs are usually like 3-4 minutes. I love how every melody fits and nothing ever seems out of place for something that's this long and through all the time of listening, you never get tired of it.

Do I get to choose which direction I go and if I listen to 1 second too much I could miss the death and funeral of a loved one. Why the fuck would i want such a limited frame of 1 second for every year? Do I accrue these like poker chips that I can spend at will?
