The production is great and I agree with you. The "wet" vocals over the "dryer" parts work well. I stumbled upon this production technique in my latest video on my own channel.

This song reminds me of the time I saw the ocean for the first time. I was so far away from my dog who loved to swim and facing one of my biggest fears, deep dark bodies of water. All I thought while being there was that I wanted to be at home with him and not there without him. He died that day while I was there back in 2019 from old age. I eventually painted a small painting of him and I kept it. I heard this song for the first time while playing Sky Children Of Light on my ps4 and it brought back memories of that. I love this song and this cover too.

My dad passed away in October, so I understand what you’re feeling to an extent(everyone’s experiences and grief are unique). The sense of loss is unreal.

Lauren does covers of songs in her garage stairwell, her voice is pretty haunting on its own. If you would like to get into her stuff, I recommend listening to her cover of ‘poor way fairing stranger’ it’s a favorite of mine. :)

Picking my jaw off the floor after coming down from the sky. The way you built the song was freaking awesome. One of the "trademarks" of Aurora's songs, imo, is to put hope and light into our hearts no matter how sad the theme may be. You took the hope and light built into Runaway and gave it flying lessons - wow!

The harmonies in this were truly magical. As I listen to the range and power of both of you, I wonder what would happen if you were to collaborate in similar harmony in a remake of your Adam Melchor Jewel cover. That third octave in a stairwell cover would shake the stars and move mountains.

Of all the trends on TikTok with the songs that was suppose to help you remember ya past life, none of them had any effect. This one however did bring a memory with it. Here's what it was: Dark clouds in the distance flashing with lightning as the sun sets behind me and the man standing to my right. I place my hand on his left shoulder and say, "Brother, this is the end of your journey with me. Take heart knowing that you saw me to this point. There is no point in both of our bloodlines to end in this coming battle." Out of the corner of my eye I can see him looking at me with a mix of emotions on his face. I am writing a fantasy-themed screenplay right now. This song is so ethereal, it takes me to the world of the supernatural.

I was able to do the stairwell thing once and it was amazing. I was alone in an old multi story office building and it came to me to sing Amazing Grace with full voice in the stairwell. It is as you said in the building about singing in the church, the building sings back with you. A singular event I will remember forever. Restrooms are very alive as well. We've jammed bluegrass in the restroom before going on stage a few times. Sounds weird but you get a good sustain off the tile walls.
