Malibu Comics TV spot, 1993

"Move over, Marvel...move over DC...these Malibu dudes are the whole new wave!" Great TV spot about Malibu. There are interviews with Tom Mason and Chris Ulm, and cameos from other luminaries around the office. There are discussions of DINOSAURS FOR HIRE, STAR TREK: DS9, and hints about the Ultraverse. This originally aired on the Sci-Fi channel. Enjoy!

At least when DC buys a company, they use their creations, Marvel interfered and destroyed these books, and will probably never use them again. Apparently there's a creator fee on these properties, but that could get sorted. It's not even that uncommon.

Yeah, I imagine you could work out a deal that would benefit both parties and bring back these characters but Marvel just doesn't. An interesting, unique super hero universe killed off by Marvel. Meanwhile another universe I really liked, Defiant Comics was killed off by Marvel UK. Marvel just loves to kill off interesting ideas.

Since they absorbed all the Malibu characters this would/should be the place for Marvel writers to explore all their "woke" ideas/stories...but of course since their character don't have the name recognition it probably wouldn't work. Damn.
