This is Top-Tier. Absolutely brilliant.
This is some incredible stuff. Love it!!
Struck gold with this one. Solid album all the way. Makes great background music.
That ending quote from Gandalf gave me chills. Well done, this album was a treat

This was truly an emotional experience.
Came just to comment on how good this record is. So overlooked, but may be the best dungeon synth release of 2023! Incredible production, album flow with a level attention rarely afforded in the genre, gorgeous wide array of well-textured synth sounds.
Very well!
The ending is perfect
First time hearing malfet good stuff
"But in her web she still delights To weave the mirror's magic sights, For often through the silent nights A funeral, with plumes and lights And music, came from Camelot: Or when the moon was overhead Came two young lovers lately wed; 'I am half sick of shadows', said The Lady of Shalott."
alto disco loco!!! que temaso el "Dolorous Gard"
This one has been on repeat like CRAZY lately 💖
I usually prefer spooky/trippy vibes with my dungeon synth, but malfet really does the folk medieval vibe in a way I enjoy
Ooooh I love them, I have all of their music on vinyl! They are among of the best of Dungeon Synth

It's only one person. But yeah he's on a league of its own. Him and Quest Master
Reading Dragonlance novels to theses tunes is epic!
Hail Malfet

Excellent! Malfet makes some great music.
Immensly good album. Especially towards the end.
This made my morning walk quiet the experience! I can't wait to listen to it again and again!
Masterpiece
Solid!
Solid gold. Its hard to find the right mix of ambience and melody in some dungeonsynth albums. This hits the sweet spot right between the two.

Same here. I like a bit of a stronger melody to my DS, so I do tune out on some that are a bit more meandering/ambient. Doesn't mean I think they're bad, it just doesn't hook me quite so much. But this was lovely to listen to.
#11 is awesome!
Master at work, as always. HAIL LORD MALFET! ⚔
I did not expect this album to be SO good, the movie quotes were a nice touch and the compositions themselves are written masterfully. A joy to listen to!
Ordered a shirt and a record, thankz
beginning of ride for ruin is so tasty
The harpsichord in track 6 is a revelation
currently my favourite ds artist, each album is an absolute masterpiece.
10/10, absolute slapfest. Would patiently wait for the drawbridge to lower so I can stand my ground against menacing blood-red eyes peering at me from the darkness of the castle's archway again.
This is what I love to see- I mean hear.
I am enjoying these interesting albums I never knew existed. I'm also discovering interesting things on KZread. 😊
Nice💛💙
Oh, that last song is wonderful.
mystically brilliant
Half-Sick of Shadows ❤
hey, really cool album! each song is unique and has different feeling.
Saw malfet in Denton last year, sweet and fun guy with a cool hairdo :) and also amazing music!!!
Seeing Malfet opening for Mortiis right before the pandemic was one of the only good things to happen in 2020
I cried in the end , thank you.
This is fantastic!
It's giving me skyrim but also the Interstellar soundtrack 😁 ❤
I'm so happy to hear this album! This is now my second favourite album and band. You know, I'm just starting getting to this genre, if you have some cool stuff to share - please, comment about it!

@@redfogwhitefrost2583 yes of course! Reminds me Zealoth's last album, which cover has a skull, a ship and winter mountain, I really would like to find something similar to that, but the thing you've recommended is probably better, than that thing I've considered as my favourite!

came out in october actually, but nonetheless awesome, i agree.
Incredible tracks here, so much so I went and bought Malfet's entire discog. Does anyone know of any other bands that kind of mimic this (in terms of tempo and instruments)?
Sounds effortless. You can really hear the confidence coming through.

That was beautiful beyond my vocabulary, I honestly felt transported to a whole new world. I could feel the tall grass kissing my fingers, the tall trees that reached the clouds, all of it. It was unbelievable. Heck, I used this for one of my writing sessions for my epic fantasy novel and I must say, Malfelt, if you are out there, thank you. You made me want to write just a little bit longer, thank you for making such fine art. Truly, you have my eternal thanks!
